Come and stay in the tranquil village of Crantock, in a spacious homely house with a huge child friendly garden and only a 10 minute walk away from a beautiful long sandy beach and the River Gannel. Crantock village itself has a well stocked village shop (1 minute walk) including freshly baked rolls, croissants and traditional Cornish pasties; a Post Office service is offered too. There is also a pleasant cafe in the heart of the village. There are 2 public houses in the heart of the village (2 minute walk) and another a mile away which overlooks the stunning Crantock Bay. Firstly thanks for considering Crantock Corner. I have been renting my property for a few years now and like to think that if you book to stay at Crantock Corner you can be confident that it will provide everything you expect from a large 'family' house. I prefer to talk with guests from initial enquiry, throughout the booking process and address any problems during their stay; by this I hope it feels more personal. Please read the excellent 5 Star reviews. When I receive enquiries about short breaks, or even one night stays, I like to discuss a rental price over the phone as the quote depends on the time of year, amount in the group, whether last minute, over the whole weekend etc etc. I will do my best to make your stay memorable.

Prices are based on 8 people so please contact Paul to discuss extra charges for extra guests; if it's a baby or toddler then there may be no charge. Any number of nights are considered at Crantock Corner; sometimes the pricing structure on the website does not allow this or make it clear, especially for peak weeks, when the website automatically calculates a nightly rate. I apologise for this and do not want to mislead any guests. For breaks less than a week one-off cleaning costs and time of booking have to be taken into account, along with the potential loss of a full weeks rent; so prices will be more than the nightly rate. Also a reduction in occupancy (less than 8 persons) will alter the price. Please contact Paul if you have any questions; ALL breaks are considered. If you don't ask you don't get. Please ask away! CRANTOCK is a beautifully quaint Cornish village, close to the bustling town of Newquay on the granite cliffed north coast of mid-Cornwall. The small village lies to the south of the River Gannel with the river also acting as a natural boundary between the parishes of Newquay and Crantock. The village has 2 family orientated public houses, a Post Office and village shop. It also has a vast and beautiful beach for you to explore.

There are many other golden sandy beaches to discover such as Polly Joke, Holywell Bay, Perranporth and Watergate bay. Newquay has several beaches too to suit everyone.

Newquay airport (NQY) is located on the North Cornwall coast, close to Watergate Bay and St Mawgan village.

The airport is situated just five miles outside Newquay town centre. There are regular bus services linking the airport to the town centre. A taxi to the centre is approximately £15. There are also three car hire companies based at the airport, Avis, Europcar and Hertz. Crantock is a further 3 miles from Newquay town centre.
