Holiday Rental House
The house is still principally used by the family and looked after accordingly. Situated in a unique position, with just two neighbours, overlooking one of Cornwall's most stunning beaches. Chy-an-lowena has a private entrance and a two minute walkway to the beautiful Crantock beach. The house basks in the sun and has an enviable 360 degree unobstructed view. There are four bedrooms in the house the two doubles with breathtaking views, 'sunset' a king size double, 'seascape' a double twin, 'dawn' bunk beds and 'sunrise' a single and a bunk bed. Additionally, there is also an outdoor studio in the garden that can be rented, with a further two single beds and a bathroom with shower. The house has two showers and one bath. The beach is a two minute walk to golden sands, dunes, a mermaids cave and some of the best surfing available on the North coast without being too crowded. There are lovely walks to the nearby beaches of Porth joke, Holywell bay and Perranporth, passing along the coastal path, with the occasional opportunity of seeing the grey seals and hearing the beautiful skylarks sing. If you are a bird watcher, fisherman, say no more, you are at home. This is the place to come for relaxation, letting the kids run free on a mile long beach where there are endless activities to keep them amused. There is wifi if needed, modern smart tv, games and an outside barbecue to cook up your favourites. For further details go to Crantock.net. The local village is a 5 minute walk where there is a post office and a small shop. If needed there is a supermarket, 10 minutes drive away, in the nearest town, Newquay. If you are looking to get further afield to Helligan gardens, Eden, Port Isaac or St.Ives, then they are all within easy drive for a day out. About the neighbourhood
The local village is very quiet picturesque and hamlet like. There is a post office, two pubs, The Albion and The Cornishman, tea rooms and an Art Gallery. The people are friendly and there is both canoeing and surf instruction on the beach, based in the National Trust car park. The area is protected and largely owned by the National Trust, who make a big effort to keep the environment, green, clean and tidy. There are walks to three other stunning beaches nearby and if its town you are looking for then, Newquay is a 15 minute walk although you need to time the tide correctly!
How to get there
There are generally two routes from the M25: The Fast Route is the M4 -> M5 -> A30, turning off at Newquay and taking sings for Crantock The Scenic Route and most direct, this is 60 miles shorter: M3 to Baisingstole -> then the A303 all the way till it turns into the A30, then take turning for Newquay and follow sings for Crantock. If you are coming from the North or SW, you will need a variation of these.
