Total Satisfaction
This was the second time at Spindrift with a family party of 10 people; three generations.
We were thrilled to be back, as the entire property is designed and equipped perfectly to give the best possible conditions for a holiday break. On arrival, after a long journey, the complimentary bottle of wine, scones and jam were most a welcome surprise. The rooms are really comfortable and beautifully clean and with a good amount of storage. All bathrooms are a delight to use. The kitchen is large and has a useful seating area. All mod cons, as they say, with up to date cooker, hob and fridges/freezer. Whatever culinary task you undertake, there is always to be found in the drawers a tool or gadget that fits the need exactly.
The house is perfectly situated in the middle of Kingsand and only a few yards from the carpark with a bakery 100 yds away and pubs with restaurants all within four minutes walk. Despite their proximity the house is quiet at all times. The key aspect for us, is the private door directly onto the beach! Which you access from the covered area at the rear which contains a tennis table.
There is a special room in the yard where you can store and dry wetsuits etc. In the courtyard area is a large capacity dining table.
We always enjoyed the feeling of security we felt when the weather was bad and we stayed in the house and read, chatted and played games - there is cupboard full of games - or listen to music on the terrific sound system when we weren’t watching the giant TV. This feeling was enhanced when we thought of the history of the house going back to 1740.
The only drawback to our stay, was having to leave! We always have a sense of having enjoyed a fully satisfying break from our normal busy lives. ‘till the next time……

Family-friendly coastal getaway
Well equipped property in a fabulous location with direct beach access. Spindrift was clean and comfortable, and catered well for our large family gathering which included 2 children and 2 dogs. The secure courtyard was excellent for the children and dogs (as well as great Kayak storage for the keen Kayakers in the group!) and the sun trap balcony was the icing on the cake.
Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking to take a larger group away.

Perfect in every way!
We could not have enjoyed this place more! A group of 10 adults and 2 newborns for a long weekend - the house is brilliantly well equipped and far surpassed our expectations! The secret door through to the secret beach was magical, the beds extremely comfortable, the place immaculate and well equipped with good quality linen and towels.
The sound of the waves while we had lunch outside was deeply relaxing! Perfectly located in the heart of an extremely charming town we enjoyed wandering up to buy the papers from the shop in the morning and along the sea front for a drink outside the pub in the evening. The large car-park opposite made it easy to come and go from the property though beware these Cornish streets were not built for wide vehicles!
Stunning place, really classy decor, perfectly equipped and an extremely helpful and communicative host. Faultless!

Fabulous House . Highly recommend
We stayed in Spindrift for half term with 3 generations of family . Very spacious house with plenty of room for everyone . Master bedroom is extra special with balcony and sea views . Great access directly onto the beach . The kids loved the table tennis and Sky TV package too . Well equipped kitchen with table and also option to eat in the lovely dining room . Kingsand is a great village , we didn’t use the car all week . Walking distance to pubs , cafe , beaches and ferry trip to Plymouth . Highly recommend.

Fantastic cottage
We booked this cottage for a birthday celebration for my wife, Our party consisted of 4 couples and 2 dogs.
The location is stunning beautiful views from our bedroom terrace.
Great walks lovely pubs in fact one was only 11 steps across the street.
The cottage was spacious beautifully furnished and had everything you could want
And more ,scones bread butter jam cream milk and even a bottle of prosecco in the fridge was a lovely touch.
We all agreed that we would love to live in spindrift. And said we will definitely return
Again, we had a fantastic time best holiday home ever thanks.

Kingsand Delight
This property is of the highest standard. All rooms are fitted out to a very high quality from crockery in the kitchen to bedding in all of the bedrooms. The location is superb in the village with every amenity within easy walking distance. We had 8 adults in 4 bedrooms and never once felt cramped for space. The whole experience from booking to departure was seamless with the owner extremely pleasant and great to deal with. Will definitely be back!!

Spindrift Kingsand Cornwall
Fantastic well equipped comfortable house in a great location. There is nothing this house does not have for your holiday needs. Even my dog loved it. The nice welcoming touches from the owners were great. Board games, books, kitchen appliances bathrooms everything has been thought of by these owners. You literally just need to throw a few clothes in your case and off you go. Superb accommodation and the best we have stayed in. Kingsand is great for dog owners and the area caters for both their needs and those of the pet owners. The owners were very helpful before we booked in answering all our questions.

Fabulous house and location
This was our second time staying at Spindrift and it was just as wonderful as the first time! We booked our holiday to celebrate a birthday with family and the house accommodated 9 of us easily. The house is fully equipped with everything you need and more, and its right on the beach, so you wake up to amazing views of the sea each morning! It’s located in the pretty village of Kingsand, a fabulous location with lots of lovely walks along the beach and around the village. A short drive away is the beautiful Whitehaven beach and lots of coastal walks. Its a great place to stay to explore Cornwall, we visited Looe, Fowey and Padstow while there. We can’t wait to book a third visit!!

Perfect getaway
We stayed at Spindrift for a week in a group of 4 adults and 6 children. This place is amazing, the house itself is just perfect with everything you could need and all the little luxuries on top. Along with the stunning beach location this really did make this holiday one of our best yet and one we can’t wait to repeat. Kingsand is a fab place with everything on your doorstep so no need to drive which made our holiday even more relaxing. Highly recommend!

Beautiful beach house, perfect for weekend away with friends
I booked Spindrift for a long weekend (Fri - Mon) for myself and 5 friends (3 couples) as we were attending a wedding on the Saturday in Cawsand / Kingsand. We only occupied three of the largest bedrooms, as didn't have any kids with us.
The house was just 10 minutes drive from the venue (Polhawn Fort) so was perfectly located.
The spacious bedrooms are equipped with everything you need (full length mirror, towels, hairdryer, lots of wardrobe space, hangers etc) & beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable, so if you're after a restful break, this will definitely help!
The kitchen is also very well equipped - we were surprised to be left a bottle of prosecco, scones, jam, milk, tea and coffee, which was a lovely touch! (We ordered online from Sainsbury's for extra supplies).
We ate breakfast outside as the weather was nice, but equally there's plenty of room for a large group to all eat together at the kitchen table or in the dining room - so lots of options.
The games room was great for Friday night, and the living room has a big TV with super comfy sofas which we're ideal for relaxing on the Sunday night.
The Halfway House (literally a few steps from the front door) is a pub which serves great food & local beer, so we went there both Friday night and for Sunday dinner (amazing roast beef). Would highly recommend to visit at least once if staying at Spindrift.
Would definitely return - we all said the only downside of the weekend was that we didn't spend long enough in the property due to our other plans!
