For great nights' sleep following great days in the fresh air, 10 Tywarhnayle Rd hosts a huge master bedroom with king bed, elegant double room with king bed, airy twin bedroom, and children's bunkbed room complete with authentic pirate's treasure chest and parrot. All bedrooms are furnished with new 2000 pocket sprung memory mattresses, bounceback duvet and pillows, 200 thread-count Egyptian cotton bed linen which together with the sea air makes for zzzzs. An additional trundle & day bed in the master bedroom are available upon request to sleep 9th and 10th guests: please request this at the time of booking. The living space continues our theme of comfort and style with generous leather sofas, huge Blaupunkt HD television, DVD player, wool throws, local art by Cornish artists past and present, and a well stocked kitchen and dining area. Following a successful first season, for 2018 we've added lots of extras - enhanced our kitchen equipment, have a range of games for all ages; Cornwall Monopoly, a DVD player, full Poldark season 1-3 boxsets, and a library of books about Cornish walks, places to visit and history. Thank you to all our guests from 2017 who came up with these suggestions. Outside surfer's hot shower to follow! As well as off street parking for 2/3 cars, 10 Tywarnhayle Road also has three distinct outdoor areas behind the property, with far reaching views over Perranporth. The patio outside the kitchen has a wooden garden bench, hosepipe and bucket for washing wetsuits, a double washing line. A large storage bunker offers plenty of space here for storing boards (up to 11'0''), bikes and pushchairs. We're about to install a hot outside shower here so surfers and bathers can easily take wetsuits off in warmth and comfort. The terraced sun terrace just up the steps has two rattan sun loungers and side table, with elegant wooden lattice fencing to screen the private sunbathing area. The lawned garden on the upper level is bordered by lavender and has far reaching views over Perranporth. There's a large garden bench for dining and a raised stone border for easy use of disposable barbecues. 'The Beach Shack' is our up-cycled garden shed containing buckets, spades, balls, badminton set, beach boules, snorkel, flippers, bodyboards and giant frisbee. Guests are welcome to use everything and to leave beach accessories here for future guests or return visits. There's also room to store surf boards or bikes, and guests are welcome to bring a padlock to securely store valuable sports equipment. In all, the patio, sun-terrace and garden are a blissful place to catch some rays, read, BBQ or dine alfresco, looking over Perranporth. The beach is barely 400m from the house, perfect for carrying buckets and spades, surfboards, or tired children to and fro. Surfing is a must - there are plenty of board hire shops in town for first-timers with packages from as little as £4 per day - or to enjoy the beach more sedately, we also love a vintage cream tea at The Seiners, or a sundowner at The Watering Hole, England's only bar on the beach. Beautiful house, lovely location, owners just brilliant made us so welcome with a cream tea & invite to their Art Gallery, will definately be staying again. We loved it xx

Very nice property. Although, description indicated outside shower would be coming in 2018- there didn't appear to be one even though we visited at the end of 2018. Never the less would recommend.

fantastic property, ideal location, short walk to the most amazing beech. both the owner and her property manager Peter are the most helpful and likeable people to deal with. We cant not wait to go back .

Lovely house with the little extra touches as in cream tea and they provide towels. Good distance from beach and shops. Pity it’s not bigger as next year we need 10 people and the house is on the market. Pity garden not bigger and no...More
