We spent a delightful week in early July at this beautifully appointed and comfortable cottage. We had a fantastic time at the Old School House and were really sad to come back home after our 2 week holiday. St Austell is home to the historic China Clay industry however it is a market town which has become well known through immense public interest in The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Eden project.<BR><BR>In the town itself there is a cinema, award winning family run brewery, ten pin bowling, leisure centre, beautiful Parish church and shops.<BR><BR>The local area has much to visit. The historic Charlestown harbour is five minutes by car from the cottage. There you will find Square Sail Ships, gift and tea shops, pubs, restaurants and a Shipwreck museum. People like to fish from the harbour wall or sit outside the pubs and watch the world go by.
