The Mill House has a lounge / dining room, fitted kitchen, bathroom with walk in shower on the ground floor. The first floor has one double bedroom and one smaller bedroom with two 3ft beds. (Sleeps 4). Cornhill Farm Cottages form part of a 130 acre family run working farm, producing beef, cereals and winter vegetables. The cottages are traditionally converted stone barns, set in beautiful, open countryside. Guests are welcome to enjoy all the farm has to offer, from seeing the cows and calves, welsh pigs or Shetland ponies, to quiet walks around the farm where you can enjoy the picturesque views of St Austell Bay and Luxulyan Valley. There is undercover parking adjacent to the cottages as well as a large play area with swings, a slide and a see-saw. The cottages is fully equipped and suitable for everyday needs: * Washing machine, electric cooker, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, crockery and utensils. * LCD Colour freeview television with DVD player, radio/cassette/CD player, Selection of board games. * Duvets, bed linen and tea towels, (bathroom linen is also available on request FOC). * Central heating, electric and hot water are all included. * Cot, high chair, stair gate are all available on request (NO additional charge). Also available for visitors use and enjoyment: Coin operated tumble dryers. Payphone. Picnic, barbecue and play area. Hair dryers on request. Extra Freezer space available for all cottages. Free Wi-Fi available for guests use. One of fully equipped kitchens. Access to the friendly farm animals. Undercover parking. All the self catering cottages are non – smoking and because we are a working farm we are sorry that we cannot allow pets. Guide dogs, however, are welcome. About the neighbourhood
The cottages are situated less than 2 miles away from the sandy beaches which form St Austell bay, and are located within an easy drive of Newquay and the spectacular north coast, all of which offer many quiet coves, surfing beaches, fishing villages and the coastal footpath. Passing close by the cottages is the Saints Way (“forth an syns” in Cornish), a 26 mile trail which runs from Padstow to Fowey, through beautiful countryside, including the picturesque Luxulyan Valley, where you can see the Treffry Viaduct, (pictured). Along the route a wide variety of flora and fauna can be found. How to get there
Traveling from A30: Leave the A30 for Bodmin then take 3rd left (3/4 mile) signposted Plymouth. At “T” junction turn left then 1st left at roundabout. At the next roundabout turn right, signposted Lostwithiel B3268. At mini roundabout take 1st left then continue until you reach the A390. Turn right onto A390 and follow to St Blazey. After railway crossing take the 1st right, signposted Luxulyan and Prideaux Rd. Follow this road to the top and at “T” junction turn left. Follow this road past eden service entrance and turn left at staggered crossroads, signposted Cornhill Farm Cottages. Cornhill Farm Cottages are 1/2 mile along this road on the left.
