Note the demand is very high for this home on weekends. --------------------------- House rules No smoking and strictly no parties at all. No noise or activity outside after 10pm. No additional visitors here after 10pm. Maximum 3 cars parked on property front. There's also a 2 car garage. Absolutely no street parking in Norton lane. Neighbours WILL complain. This is a residential area filled with families and retirees. Our home is suitable for couples, families and small corporate retreats, we often host professionals looking for a quiet getaway from the city, or mature folk attending weddings nearby, who agree not to bring the party back home! Only plastic cups if using outdoor spa. Clean up after yourselves, especially kitchen. You agree as a strict condition of the booking, you will lose the $300 security deposit for breach of the house rules relating to noise complaints, outside guests after 10pm, or parking violations. This may be from our caretaker, or neighbour reports. Please don't give our neighbours cause for complaint, as this threatens our lovely bnb that's been enjoyed by numerous visitors seeking the tranquility of the Highlands. Great venue for us. I had family, including my nieces and nephews. There was plenty to entertain the kids while the rest of us were getting ready for the wedding. Large multiple living spaces were ideal for the makeup lady and hair stylist. Jacuzzi was...More

House was ideal staging post for wedding preparations. It is a large house - which was able to easily facilitate the photographer / makeup person, hairdresser, bride, bridesmaids and visitors. All in different parts of the house. It was exactly what we were looking for.

About the neighbourhood
Quiet. Family friendly, but also perfect for a couples retreat. The lane has little traffic and is almost a dead end cul-de-sac. It's flat, and perfect for kids to ride safely down the lane to the nearby nature walk. Go find the hidden wombat sculpture, or carry on right up the clearly marked bush track, up to a fantastic lookout. East Bowral park is not far, as are many nature trails. A dedicated bike track is also nearby, taking you right into town, ending up at the Cherry Tree Lane park. In summer we have Bowral pool, and others nearby. Illawarra Fly attraction is nearby in Robertson, which is also lovely. Famous pie shop. Make sure you visit historic Berrima, and browse the pottery shop and other quaint places.
