Beautiful Skye Lodge is located right in the centre of town, and close to Byron Bay's most breathtaking beaches. All of Byron's major attractions are right at your doorstep from this centrally located house yet you'll feel a million miles away from it all as you're tucked away from the main roads and located next to a peaceful nature reserve in quiet Shirley Lane. Skye Lodge has off street parking available but being so close to town you can leave your car and stroll to town or the beach. From the charming panelled walls to the high ceilings, you will feel like you're in the era from which the Queenslander house was built. The furnishings of the house are stylish and include all the mod-cons you'd expect from a highly sought after holiday rental. The furnishings of the house are stylish and include all the mod-cons you'd expect from a highly sought after holiday rental. Skye Lodge has 7 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in total. Upstairs the house has five bedrooms, including a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, bigger than some Sydney apartments. There are a further two double bedrooms and a bathroom downstairs. The house sleeps up to 12 people across flexible bedding configurations, 2 rooms each containing a queen size bed, 4 rooms that can either be used as a twin room (with two single beds) or a king room (you will need to specify your requirements). There is a further 7th bedroom with twin single beds. The lounge and dining room are stylish and comfortable. You can relax by watching one of Skye Lodge's 2 digital TVs or hanging out on a typically Byron style balcony overlooking the private tree lined garden and backing onto a very quiet reserve. Downstairs there is a recreational room which could be used for many purposes, including group activities, conferences or yoga workshops. Skye Lodge has 3 bathrooms, one with a clawfoot bath. There is a BBQ and large dining table in the garden around the sparkling swimming pool - for alfresco dining Australian style! Skye Lodge is also Pet Friendly, please discuss bringing your dog with us prior to booking. All linen and towels are provided for you when you stay at Skye Lodge so please advise us of your bedding requirements well before your stay. Austar and WiFi are also provided complimentary. Skye Lodge is perfect for family groups and we also have another house on the same block of land but totally self contained called Starr Cottage that can sleep up to 10 guests. Combined, Starr Cottage and Skye Lodge can sleep up to 22 people comfortably, all within private garden close to the town centre. Special rates are available for longer stays and largerfamily groups across the two properties. We do have a NO PARTY POLICY at all of our holiday rentals that is within the guidelines of Byron Shire Holiday Letting Policies. We do not allow Bucks or Hens parties to book at the houses at all. We are a family friendly holiday home with local residents neighbouring the houses. Guests must keep noise levels at reasonable levels at all times. Prior to, or at check in, we will require a bond to be submitted with us of $1,000, usually taken via a pre-authorisation of your credit card. Please note that our rates quoted do not include this bond. Skye Lodge not available for your required dates? Beautiful Starr Cottage is situated in the same convenient location. We also have a third house, Byron Moon, located opposite Belongil Beach which sleeps up to 12 people, and one bedroom apartment, Half Moon Cottage.
