To the rear of the house you can pick from the many fruit trees throughout the seasons including figs, plums, oranges, mandarins & persimmons to name a few. Or sit under the old Japenese Maple, Oak trees or large pines all providing a different aspect. There are also big enclosed vegetable gardens filled with strawberries, lettuces, herbs and salad requirements to sample for your enjoyment. Don't be surprised if the neighbouring alpacas or highland cows wander down the driveway to meet you. Escape from the city to this magical old property and let it revive you, the warm sun, soft breezes, big blue skies and wonderful escarpment views are a luxury for many of us living in a fast paced world where the hustle and bustle is replaced with tranquility and the sounds of nature. It's our country home and we welcome you.The home has four bedrooms consisting of two queen size beds, one double and two long singles which can be zipped to a king sized bed if required. The rooms are bright with freshly chalk painted walls, where rich stained timber floors covered in Kilims and assorted armadillo rugs fill the house. The main bedroom, featuring a separate toilet, has a beautiful bay window and door leading to the verandah and garden. Each bedroom is spacious in size and opens out to the covered verandahs and garden. The bedrooms feature a unique feel with pendant lights, luxury crisp white sheets, waffle cotton blankets and additional doonas on each bed. Prepare to feel spoilt! The house is U shaped with a beautiful rose walled courtyard that has the northern sun streaming in all day through the many doors and large windows. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality items for all your baking and entertaining needs and also includes a dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and family sized toaster. Enjoy meals outside in the courtyard, use the outdoor BBQ, where you'll dine at the timber table and benches surrounded by walls covered with rambling 'Pierre De Ronsard Roses '. The house is fully air-conditioned and fans for the hot summer nights and for the warm winters you'll be comforted by the linen sofas and log fire. There is one main bathroom, large in size, which contains a separate bath and shower. A separate toilet is located down the hall and the main bedroom has its own toilet.More

We took both sets of grandparents for a weekend away from the big smoke and thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and thrust of nature that surrounds the Old K Dairy. It's conveniently located as just a 10-15 min drive to the village and to vineyards and...More
