Situated in the main suburb of Swansea, this cosy lakeside cottage sits on tree studded grounds with room for parking and plenty of room for a boat. With direct access to the lake foreshore, this beautifully presented 2 bedroom cottage sleeps up 2 4 people. Both bedrooms are very spacious with plenty of room to put your clothing and accessories. The main bedroom has a walk through robe to the two way bathroom. There is also a porta cot and high chair at the property. * Bedroom 1- Queen bed * Bedroom 2- 2 Single beds Decorated with shades of beige and blue the lounge room features a fully upholstered recliner lounge with a flat screen TV, DVD player and an iPod docking station. As this property is on a split property the owners live in the house on the lake and Bromyard is situated behind it, from the varandah and master bedroom there are limited lake views. Bromyard has its own parking space and there is plenty of room for a boat as well, and a boat ramp is just down the road. There are grassed areas for the kids to play and also a set of swings on the property. There is direct access through a gate to the lake foreshore with well maintained grassed area where you can fish, have a picnic, feed the birds or just have a quiet laze around and take in the view. With in a 5 minute drive you can go to Swansea channel, food and leisure stores (Cole's, Woolworth's, Dan Murphy¿s and many more). If you choose to book be sure to check if the Salt Water Markets are on, also within a 5 minute drive you have a choice of 2 patrolled beaches, Blacksmiths and Caves Beach.More

Swansea is located at the entrance of Lake Macquarie (the largest salt water coastal lake in the southern hemisphere) and also benefits from being near the coast of the beautiful Pacific Ocean. It is only 30 minutes drive from from Newcastle and only an hour and a half from Sydney, making it a great holiday destination There are many activities to do when staying around Swansea, from exploring the tiny heritage village of Catherine Hill Bay to wandering through the caves at Caves Beach (patrolled by surf life savers in the warmer months). You can also take a day trip up to the Watagan Mountains, or to the Hunter Valley Vineyards.
