Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and baby walker. Off road parking for 3 cars. Small courtyard area with furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 4 miles, pub 10 mins walk. Note: The owners offer free of charge fishing on their lake, no licence required. Note: Unfenced fishing lake, children and pets to be supervised. Note: This property's water supply is fed from an underground spring. Region: From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer? Town: The pretty little village of Ravensworth lies just to the north of Richmond in a minor tributary of the River Swale. Made up of weathered sandstone cottages with their unusual 'Yorkshire' roofs - a mix of soft red pantiles and slate - the village is centred around a wide, picturesque village green. At one end of the green the popular Bay Horse Inn serves good food and drink. Pretty footpaths run from Ravensworth through the surrounding villages allowing visitors to enjoy many circular walks. Close by are the popular Swaledale market town of Richmond and the Teesdale market town of Barnard Castle both of which offer a wide range of amenities and shops.More
