3 nights minimum
This beautiful townhouse, located in the historic district, is just 3 short blocks from downtown Beaufort. Walk to the Waterfront Park, downtown shops, galleries or a variety of restaurants. Little need for a car. Our home is located on a published walking tour route of the historic and downtown areas, and horse-drawn carriage tours come within 100 ft of the house. As an end unit, it's a lot more private and airy than other townhouses.

The large master bedroom has a queen bed; it also has a single size sleep sofa. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. The large master bedroom has a queen bed; it also has a single size sleep sofa. The second bedroom has 2 single beds. The ground floor has a bedroom with a very comfortable queen sleep sofa (Tiffany 24/7 mechanism). If not needed as a bedroom, this room doubles as a den/ office and has a working fireplace.
Bathrooms: We have recently renovated our upstairs bathroom (not shown in pictures) to make it more spacious. The master bathroom has his & hers sinks as well as a shower/ tub. The downstairs bath has a shower. Washer & dryer are upstairs.
Living room: The front door leads into a large living room decorated with a coastal theme. The large bay window gives a spacious feeling. Relax in cushioned wicker chairs and sofa. We’ve decorated with pictures and artwork from many places.
Kitchen and eating area: The kitchen is small, but fully equipped and has all appliances. The dining table seats 8.
Deck & backyard: A large deck is great for entertaining or just relaxing. The backyard is fenced and surrounded by trees to provide security and a sense of privacy. You will love our back yard patio with its fire ring (well stocked with fire wood.)
Parking is off-street in a dedicated space behind the townhouse. The parking area and back are well-lighted with several streetlights. Additional guest spaces are available, as well as a free parking lot across the street.
Entertainment and communications: The townhouse has DirecTV with two TVs (one is HD). High speed internet is available with a wireless router.
Our home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with private off-street parking. In additions, we feel extra secure because of the 3 streetlights in the back. Walk, jog, or ride bikes through this historic area to see nearby historic churches, beautiful homes, and tree-lined streets. Extra parking is available in the free municipal parking lot just next door. Launch a boat in the Intracoastal Waterway at two near-by public ramps: Beaufort City Marina Landing or Pigeon Point Landing.
Our preference is for families because our townhouse is located in a small residential complex.
Our guests should always respect our neighbors' desire for quiet and privacy.
Although our back yard is great for informal gatherings, we do not allow organized events on the property.
We were pleased with everything at the condo as well as being within walking distance of town. It was very private and quiet even though it's a neighborhood of condos and houses. Just like being at home. My son was able to relax and enjoy...More
Stayed for a week and it was good for what we needed. My only complaint is my dogs weren't a fan of the gravel yard...just because they're nuts, and the cleaning people put the Arm and Hammer Pet Fresh in the refrigerator which made it...More
By far the best place we've stayed at. Very clean, like new place - no dust or mold smell like some places. Well stocked with essentials and many things one wouldn't expect (spices, emergency kit, flashlights, fans, x-tra bedding, pass for state parks.....) Owner even...More
My daughter and I visited the area for my son's graduation from Marine Boot Camp. We had a great time! The home was nicely furnished and just a few blocks from Downtown Beaufort. The owners were great in providing all the info we needed for...More

We stayed here in October 2015, two couples visiting family. The house is as described in the trip advisor post. It is a very comfortable house, and well equipped. A credit to the owners Ed and Mary. Should we visit again we will definitely be...More
My parents, my daughter, my husband, and myself all stayed here for our son's Boot Camp Graduation. Ed was extremely kind and flexible (our son's date changed after our initial reservation and it was no problem at all!). The home was very cozy and had...More

About the owner: With roots in South Carolina, we have spent most of our careers outside the South. Ed was in the military and Mary taught at the elementary school level. We have vacationed on the South Carolina coast for as long as we can remember. When we discovered Beaufort and the sea islands, we knew this was the place. We are eager to be back and bought this townhouse as a vacation home. We are offering our vacation home to others. We are new to offering a listing on VRBO, but have used it many times as vacationers.
Why the Owner Chose Beaufort:
For several summers, we visited the Beaufort area and stayed in different locations (e.g., Ladys Island, Port Royal, Parris Island Gateway area, Pigeon Point, and near downtown.) We discovered that nothing beats the convenience and simpli...
For parents of Parris Island Marine Corps graduates, our townhouse is a great place for you to relax with your graduating Marine. It is located just under 6 miles (10 minutes) from the entrance to US Marine Corps Recruit Depot. If your coming to see the ceremonies at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, our home is a convenient location to both downtown and Parris Islance. The map show the location of our townhouse in Beaufort and can be adjusted to show the route to Parris Island down Ribaut Road through the town of Port Royal.
