Not too far from the marina and quick access off the island. Walk to a few restaurants, great ocean views. Clean, updated, well appointed.

Perfect Vacation Getaway
Great Condo provided the perfect getaway for our family! From the gorgeous beach views from the balcony to the luxurious rain shower in the master bath, we enjoyed all that this condo had to offer! We definitely will plan to stay here again!

Plenty of Space
We had 3 couples and 3 kids stay with no problems. Big enough to accommodate all without stepping on each other’s toes. Convenient to the beach and restaurants. Everything included to survive the week.

Great Family Destination
This was our first trip to the Isle of Palms. What a magnificent place! We were able to check into our room a couple hours early with a fee. That was a nice upgrade. The condo is beautiful. It is decorated in rich colors with very nice furniture. We had plenty of towels, and extra blankets were there although we didn't need those. There were plenty of dishes and utensils. The ice machine was not working the week we were there. It had been "fixed" the week before by a repair man. He was going to be called back. Not too big of a deal, but I easily had $30 in bags of ice. The views from the balcony were amazing. Not to mention, there is live music right below you every night of the week. This unit sits right beside the air conditioning unit. Outside of the front door is so hot that the air takes your breath away. The only major drawback (the reason I didn't rate this unit as Excellent) is the complex location. On both sides of the building there is public beach access. It seemed much more like a busy section of Myrtle Beach than the quiet beach I was longing for. Up and down the beach 500 yards was practically empty. The pool was nice, but it could have been cleaned. We saw a guy there one time and he didn't even empty the pool of people to clean. He swept right around them. We'd definitely consider going back. It was a very nice place for the 10 of us to share.

Great for a girls weekend at the beach!
This apartment was so beautiful and comfortable. The access to the beach was easy. We had fun cooking dinner in and enjoying some time in the sun. Couldn't have asked for a better location.

A true paradise for those from the north!
We brought our family (children, siblings, and grandchildren) with us as we made our move to SC. This was our gift to them for helping us - a week at IOP. After 900 miles of driving, we couldn't have found a better place! The condo was more than spacious enough to house our extended family. Spent a few nights around the dining table playing cards! Spent countless hours out on the porch overlooking the beach. We LOVED the location, the top-notch condo and our time there! We will DEFINATELY rent this condo again when our family travels down to visit us!

Wouldn't choose to stay here again
The condo does have some luxury touches. However, the negatives far outweigh the positives. The air conditioning units for half of the third floor sit immediately outside the entrance door to # 301. The blast of heat you must walk though to simply enter the condo is like walking through a furnace. So much so that at times the door handle is too hot to touch with your bare hand. The instructions to guests indicate that turning the AC temp below 72 degrees would cause the unit to freeze and that should have been our first clue. This unit is on the westernmost end of the building catching the full sun all afternoon. The air conditioning unit simply cannot keep up with the demand. We didn't adjust the temp at all but even at that the unit would run constantly all afternoon. By Friday early evening the AC had stopped working at all. When we returned to the condo around 7:30 the inside temp was >90 degrees. I first called the property management service, as I had to call them earlier in the week when the pool pump wasn't working. They told me to call the rental manager. I called the manager and he informed me that he couldn't get anyone to come out that evening. His advice was to turn on all the fans (already running) and to get fans from the closets to cool the condo. The unit was not frozen. At that time both the outside and inside temps were 95 degrees. And there were NO FANS in the closets. I told him that we were going to have to get hotel rooms for the night, as no one would be able to sleep in the condo. We had to pack up all our belongings because everyone had to head home the following morning. And it was miserable to have to do this in a hot stuffy condo. The manager agreed with me that the placement of the AC units is a poor configuration. The owner has placed fans around the units to try to keep them cool, which also is an indicator that this has been problematic in the past. No one wants to spend their vacation time reporting issues with the property. My intent for this posting is to save someone else from the unpleasant surprises we experienced. I wish I had known the issues with this property prior to booking.

We are sorry you had problems with the air conditioning. By the time it was reported, Friday evening, there was just no way any AC service tech could fix the problem yet that night. It has been very hot for an extended period of time. Perhaps the unit was starting to fail earlier in the week. The AC was repaired the next day.
I was glad to be able to coordinate your filing a claim against the optional Travel Protection Policy you purchased so you could be reimbursed for the cost of the Friday night hotel stay. Insurance is for the unexpected.
