Enjoy this 2,200 square foot fully-furnished home with an amazing view of Spearfish Canyon! The Terry Peak Cabin is located in the northern Black Hills of South Dakota just 10 minutes from Deadwood, 30 minutes from Sturgis and 60 minutes to Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. This 3-level home has a private bedroom and full bathroom on each level. Each bedroom has a queen-sized bed, the loft area has a full-sized bed, and the basement family room has two twin beds. The kitchen is fully furnished with an electric range, full-sized refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. Washer and dryer in the lower level. Gas forced-air heat and a wood fireplace. The home also has a natural gas grill on the top deck, a hot tub on the lower deck, and wireless internet.

No outdoor fires are allowed in this part of the Black Hills, but our cabin has a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. No parking is allowed on the roads in the development, but we have plenty of parking in our large, circular driveway.

Beautiful location, serene surroundings
We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was a true sleeps 10, not pull outs or other uncomfortable beds. Very nicely maintained, the hot tub all set to go, just get in. Had everything we needed (except food and drink, of course). Great scenery from back deck and very peaceful. Did have trouble with the WiFi - never did connect to any of our devices - and TV channels very limited and upstairs TV didn't work at all. We were there to do other things in the area, though, so TV was not a crucial part of our stay. All in all, definitely a great stay.

Highly Recommend, Fantastic Cabin
Myself and friends stayed at the cabin recently and it was perfect. Great location and setup! Plenty of room for fun and relaxation. The cabin owners were fantastic to work with as well. They were so nice and went out of there way to ship my girlfriends make up and hair dryer back to us. We needed it within the week, as we were headed out of town.
Highly recommend this cabin!

Lots of room at Terry Peak
The cabin is an easy drive to Lead and Deadwood. It was so nice to have a bathroom on every floor and plenty of beds and couches. Because it is a ski area, yards are not a priority in the summer so it is just tall weeds. The view out the back is beautiful. We had some deer visit.
The only real complaint is the trend with cabin owners to require you to strip beds and gather towels when you leave. Maybe a small thing but why should I have to do that when I paid a cleaning fee?

Nice home but some dissapointments too.
The home was clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. It's location was perfect for our motorcycle rides around the area. We enjoyed out stay for the most part but did find some things disappointing about the home. The waist high weeds were not only unsightly but made it difficult to enter the home. No a/c or place to hang or store your clothes when staying in the downstairs bedroom was inconvenient. We also had some difficulty parking our 2 trucks and motorcycle trailers but Rich (the owner) was helpful in a solution. We also would like to suggest a light be put over the dining table and more towels be provided.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The owners were very nice and helpful when contacted. They are even having to mail prescription glasses left in a bathroom to us.

Perfect relaxing getaway in the Black Hills!
My family stayed here during a gorgeous fall weekend in October. The cabin is right next to Terry Peak Ski Resort, and it's a quick drive to lots of other popular destinations in the Black Hills including Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood, and many great hiking trails.
Lots of amenities, and the fire place and hot tub made for the perfect relaxing ambiance.
Highly recommend! There's room for multiple families to each have privacy and stay comfortably, and the location is tough to beat!
