Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park and Crazy Horse Memorial are less than a one hour drive. A jetted tub, separate huge rain-head shower & private commode are all found in the spacious bathroom. The kitchen has all the dishes, pots, pans & staples you need to prepare great meals. Two sets of solid red cedar queen-over-queen Amish-made log bunk beds provide sleeping for up to eight. Air conditioning is not needed in the mountains, but the bedroom has a ceiling fan for your comfort. All linens, paper products & hair dryers are included. Laundry facilities are available upon request. My husband and I love living in the Black Hills and enjoy sharing the amazing beauty of the area with our guests. We understand how precious time your vacation time can be so we will always respect your privacy but will be here if you need us! Wildlife abounds, and you will commonly see deer, eagles, wild turkey & elk, among others. Our property was one of the camp sites for General George Armstrong Custer and his men on their 1874 expedition of the Black Hills, and we are a national historic site. The history of our property and this area is interesting and plentiful!More
