About the neighbourhood
Here you can indulge in your passions. Whether it is good food and wine, walking, riding, golf, canoeing or cycling. The area is steeped in history from early Neolithic (cave Chauvet with 45000 years old cave paintings), pre-Roman and Roman (Nimes, Orange, Avignon), medieval (many nearby villages) to modern times. Allow yourself to enjoy the beauty of nature as well as marveling at the impact of man. (Roman theatre, amphitheatre, cathedrals, palaces).
Getting around
Although you can travel by bus throughout Le gard for only 3 euros/day, wheeled transport is really recommended
