This house was inhabited by the Turks until 1929 and the last owner was Hajji Ademi Pizirelim. The area was named ''Orchards'' due to the large orchard of lemon and orange trees. Until now in the courtyard, there is preserved one of the lemon trees of that time. Watering the orchard was from a well that still exists on the land and is used until today for watering the garden. Since 1958 the house belongs to the family. In 2003, Manolis and Peggy, owners of the villa, started its renovation with love, passion and personal work on building and decoration of maintaining its traditional character. To reach someone in the Villa you cross one of the most historic places of the old town of Chania, next to the church of Splantzia, the St. Nicholas Monastery of Dominican (street Roussos Vourdoumpa). As you enter the house you can wonder how such a big and quiet garden can be situated right in the middle of the old town. On the right side of the traditional gate to the garden is the barbecue. Entering the garden someone can find lounge furniture under the pomegranate tree or the umbrella, which promise's relaxation while children can play in the children's house without risk since there is a fence and an electronic entrance door. Moving inside the house, the first space is the patio with stone walls and large windows that you can enjoy the view of the garden or having a Jacuzzi or a drink by the fireplace. A bright fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to feel like your home, is the second room with an oak monastery-style table for 10 people illuminated by three low light- strainers, gives a warm atmosphere for mealtime. A comfortable living room is in the same room with the kitchen with a 46 inch flat screen TV perfect for movie nights. Next to the kitchen is a large bathroom with shower and two doors in order to have access to it from the patio or kitchen. The living room has a comfortable leather sofa with table, a large wooden furniture brought from ''Smyrni'' and ornate crockery for coffee and tea. The half-buried jars in the wall and the rocking chair on the opposite side space with a brass floor lamp, are giving a special touch, ideal companion for relaxing hours reading your favorite book. Next to the living room, and passing an original carved wooden sliding door, there is a bedroom with brass double bed and dressing table painted to give a romantic mood. Crossing the hall you will find the office with a library (5x4 m height) filled with a variety of books that can be read by the visitor on the wooden office or on the comfortable sofa bed. The bedroom and office overlooks at a spacious terrace with bamboo, an elegant dining area and a fence that provides privacy and security for small children. Going up on the second floor and opening a steel door there is a corridor that connects three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a headboard made of wood and iron as well as two bedside tables, large closets, a floor standing mirror and a flat screen TV. The bathroom next to bedroom has two doors in order to be autonomous from the rest of the group. The other two single bedrooms have iron beds, bedside table and comfortable multiplex wardrobes. All rooms are sunny and have air conditioning.
