It is situated close to the Wicklow/Carlow border in quiet rural surroundings and is within walking distance of two pubs/restaurants and a shop. It is situated about 8 km from the historic town of Baltinglass on the river Slaney. Ideally located for touring on the edge of the scenic Wicklow Mountains with its many attractions, and about an hours drive from Dublin and Kilkenny. Numerous golf courses and gardens within easy reach, nearest at Baltinglass. The area is rich in archaeological and historic sites. Carlow 30 km.
