There are 9 bedrooms and the house is set in its own grounds with car parking for 6 cars and a lawned garden in which to relax in peace and tranquility and there is a barbeque in the garden for your enjoyment.
The house is equipped and furnished for family groups and couples, it is therefore not suitable for singles groups.

Great for our get together Weather wonderful which made the experience I would lower bushes in middle of lawn to enhance view from balcony No sandy beach nearby,but that did not detract. A lot of drinking in down stairs bar whilst watching olympics lots of pubs and eateries nearby crabbing and fishing from the harbour Only £3 to get ferry...

We stayed here for New Year with a large group. We chose it as it was big enough to accommodate everyone with their own en suite room and was in walking distance of amenities. Great comfortable house to accommodate all the family so everyone has their own ensuite bedroom. The communal rooms are large enough for everyone to cook/dine together & the basement is a real bonus. The kitchen has everything you need & more. Sheets/towels were good quality. Perfect location for all Brixham has to offer with some great views over the bay....

Ranscombe House Layout Ground Floor from the Car Park you enter the house and on the right are the ground floor toilets.
Through the stained glass inner door is the hall and on the left is the small snug lounge with seating for five, a bookcase with books and board games, also a TV with digi box.
On the right are steps down to the lower deck leisure room. On the right is the kitchen with gas range cooker, dishwasher, fridge and chest freezer, table and chairs.
There is a door to the utility room with washing machine, tumble drier, fridge/freezer and door to the outside where there are washing lines.
The lounge/ dining room has two glazed doors which open onto the veranda.
The dining area has a large dining table which seats 16 and a gate leg table.
The lounge area has comfortable sofas...

About the neighbourhood
Nestling in the southernmost curve of Torbay is the historic fishing port of Brixham where a large fishing fleet works out of the picturesque harbour.
Quaint houses in narrow streets and steep steps up from the harbour to give Brixham a sense of agelessness.
The port has a wealth of shops from old fashioned linen shop, yacht chandlers, coffee shops and great seafood restaurants.
The Berry Head Country Park, The Napoleonic Fortress and the Coastal Park are a must for lovers of history and nature.
Getting around
There's lots of places to walk. From Brixham to Torquay and Dartmouth there are both a very good Bus and Ferry service. Within Brixham there is a convenient and reasonably priced Taxi service.

From London or The North: Take the M5 South to the end of the motorway and continue beyond Exeter on the A38 dual carriageway. At the A38/A380 fork take the left A380 towards Torbay (the right hand route can also be taken for a slightly longer journey via Totnes). Continue along the A380 towards Torquay then on the A3022 to Brixham. At Brixham Harbour turn right and drive up King Street and at the mini roundabout turn Right up Ranscombe Road. Ranscombe House is 130 yards on the left.
