2 Orchard Terrace is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac off the main high street in Bovey Tracey. The end of terrace property is full of character, from the wood-burner in the snug to the feature fireplaces in the living room & both double bedrooms. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you could need for up to 8 people to dine in comfort, with Karndean laminate flooring, an electric oven & gas hob, dishwasher & microwave. The living room end of the kitchen is furnished with sofas & occasional tables plus a TV with the usual entertainment features. There is Wifi at the property. The spacious bedrooms upstairs accommodate up to 6 & the snug downstairs can convert to a double bedroom from the sofa-bed, making sleeping for up to 8 adults. Upstairs is a full family bathroom, downstairs a magnificent new shower room with a walk in electric shower, toilet & sink. This also accommodates a utility area for laundry. From the kitchen (and the utility / shower room) there is a courtyard space for outside wining / dining on warm evenings. There is easy walking access to all the amenities Bovey has to offer, in the form of shopping (superb Wildmoor Deli as well as Co-Op, Tesco & Spar), cafés, pubs (e.g. The Cromwell Arms) & restaurants (including Nepalese / Indian). There is even a gin / whisky distillery in the town! On street parking is hard to come by in Orchard Terrace but we offer a parking permit with the rental for one car in the local car park about 3 minutes walk away. Bovey Tracey is known as 'The Gateway to the Moors' - a 10 minute drive takes you up to Haytor and beyond; cycling to Moretonhampstead direct from Bovey via Lustleigh Cleave is also an option. Golf is available at a local 9 hole course as well as the renowned nearby Bovey Castle. The town park (alongside the River Bovey itself) is ideal for dog walking and children (by no means mutually exclusive here!) and The Craftsman Guild as well as the fortnightly Farmers' Market offer superb shopping opportunities.More
