In addition to the award winning surfing beach of Woolacombe you also have a good choice of quieter shell strewn rocky coves of Barricane beach. Here you can BYO tipple and they serve evening currys until approx. 5-7pm on the beach. Both beaches are very short walks from the apartment! Facilities and Services: Linen and towels. Electric Wall Heaters. Wi-Fi. No Smoking. Regret no pets. Patio furniture. Private parking for 1 car. Games room onsite with Pool table & table football. Short breaks available. 3pm arrival/10am Departure Arr/Dep for weekly bookings is Saturday.

Interaction with guestsIn the summer months there is a concierge service available at the Byron reception. Depending on your arrival time we will give you a pin code to access both the reception area and also your lock box where you can obtain the apartment keys. Whilst at Byron Eleven you will also be provided with towels for your stay and a pint of milk will be added to the fridge for your arrival. If any additional towels are needed we will give you a number to contact to obtain them. We wont be on site during your stay. To make the most of your stay we will give you a special password to access a guest area on our website that will give you all the best tips to enjoy your stay whilst at Byron Eleven apartments.

Great Apartment - Spoilt by Loud Music & Noise from bar & poor Byron customer service
My family had the opportunity to stay at Apartment 11, part of the Byron complex in Woolacombe during the August 2023. Overall the apartment is beautifully clean, appointed, views are stunning, parking space is excellent (as others are really tight!), decor great, beds really comfy - it could tick so, so many boxes - even the indoor swimming pool is also fantastic (although oddly a little cold at times). Our main issue during the stay is the apartment is situated directly above a bar/resturant called Brundles. Having spent a good 6hrs travelling from Cheshire, the last thing we were expecting on the 1st night was bass music shaking the apartment until midnight - when I say shaking, the glasses in the kitchen cupboards were vibrating. I immediately notified Byron customer services to ask if this was normal and would continue throughout the week. The response was extremely poor and I was offered free cocktails in the bar - why on earth would I want to take 2 young kids to a bar that previously kept us awake until the early hours. Byron seemed to suggested that they were shocked by my notification, we've never had this before from guests... yet I look on booking.com and I find at least x2 other reviews stating the same review.... funny that. Being fair / honest - The music was not audible every night - we heard it 3 nights out of 7. But when you are paying £2000+ to stay in a property, you shouldn't have to put up with it at all. I also tried escalating the issues to Byron management (as per their own T&C's) firstly the responding manager didn't even have decency to tell me her name and then sent emails telling me the apartment was classed as 'located at the front of Byron overlooking Woolacombe Bay, the village and local eateries' The response was wrong on so many levels - of course it overlooks Woolacombe bay... views are beautiful... but overlooking local eateries has got absolutely NOTHING to do with the bar directly underneath the property which plays music until the early hours booming through the floor. The responding manager also basically accused me of lying about music being played one evening until 2am and completely insulted me by saying that I'd got mixed up with music playing over the road..... utterly ridiculous. The only compensation I was offered was 10% off staying in Number 11 again (like that's going to happen) or 5% off another stay elsewhere... no thanks. I gave Byron ample opportunity to resolve the matter during my stay amicable and professionally and I also informed them very clearly that I would be leaving an honest account of my stay on trip advisor. What makes it worse is the holiday was booked late having lost my grandmother a few days prior to arriving and I then spent the week sending ridiculous emails to Byron trying to get them to take me seriously only to be fobbed off and made to feel ridiculous. So NO - I do not recommend Byron Appartment Complex based on my experiences.

The best and most wonderful apartment in the UK
We are lucky to be well travelled people and I can honestly say that 1 Woolacombe West penthouse is truly magnificent and the best accommodation we have stayed at in the UK. It has stunning views of Woolacombe beach from the huge terrace. No expense has been spared on appliances, fittings, furniture and kitchenware. This place has provided us with a dream week as we got the weather too. It is expensive but well worth it for that special occasion.

Repeat customer to Byron Eleven. 5 star accommodation for everything from location, view, cleanliness, convenience, facilities and more. On the doorstep to the beautiful beach, the restaurants, bars, shops surf lessons. Flawless experience from checking in to checking out. Highly recommend for family stays or with friends and will 100% return again.

Cannot recommend highly enough
We stayed for a week in June. We are a family of 5, the apartment had plenty of room for all of us. Was nice having the 2 balconies. The view of the beach is excellent along with the comings and goings of beautiful Woolacombe, we spent many mornings sat watching the world go by. It is furnished to a high standard and the beds are extremely comfy. No complaints at all. All kitchen supplies were there which made a pleasant surprise, even dishwasher tablets were supplied. Allocated parking space is right outside the apartment along with an outside shed to store all your wet beach stuff. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough and the owner Sam was extremely helpful. We will definitely be back.

Don’t usually write reviews but felt I had to in this one. Recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at Byron 11 and I have to say 5 stars just doesn’t do it justice! Fantastic apartment in an amazing location. Spacious, modern, beautifully decorated and right in the vibrant centre of picturesque Woolacombe bay, we really couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The allocated parking space was right next to the front door of the apartment which made unloading quick and easy and we were soon sat on one of the two massive balconies enjoying a beer looking out over the beach, watching the world go by. Couldn’t fault it and can’t recommend highly enough. We will certainly try and stay there again if we can.

Brand new, great location
Stumbled across this great new apartment. The owner, Sam, is friendly and keen to please. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Woolacombe - provided it's available!!!

Perfect UK beach stay!!
Fantastic stay at Byron Eleven. The apartment is situated in the most perfect location with beautiful sea views. The beach is a two minute walk away and the shops and pubs are just over the road. The apartment itself is kitted out to a very high standard. The bedding is luxuriously soft and the beds super comfy. It was lovely to arrive to an essentials welcome pack including milk, tea and coffee etc. We felt the owners really had thought of everything - VAC cordless hoover, hairdryer, plenty of towels, spare pillows, and every cooking essential you might need. We thoroughly recommend a stay in this lovely apartment, you couldn’t ask for a better location! Thanks Sam!

About the neighbourhood
Woolacombe Beach is one of the finest beaches in the West Country it is easy to see why it has won numerous awards. It's a big favourite for families and surfers attracting thousands of people each summer to this beach and its bohemian edged resort. The rolling surf brings unbroken Atlantic breakers from across thousands of miles of ocean to pound on this three-mile long stretch of golden sand. The sheer length of the beach means it is possible to find quiet places in the surf even at the height of summer. This is one of the reasons it is fast becoming renowned as an international surfing hotspot.
Getting around
Many of the key things to do or see are within a walk from the apartment. If you want to travel to some things that require the car we recommend popping in the local Woolacombe tourism information (this is a 3min walk from the apartment)

Our tips for arrival are to check google maps from which ever direction you are travelling in. As it is highly likely that travelling in peak rush hours that you will expect a delay. Remember that we have essentials in the fridge for you. (milk/coffee/tea) So this means a late arrival is OK. The apartment is only 20m from your assigned parking space and you can arrive 24/7.
