Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.
Holiday rental reviews collected via the VRBO website (formerly Homeaway) and syndicated to the Tripadvisor website are not currently subject to Tripadvisor’s standard moderation processes.

Loved Corfe Castle
The cottage gave us all the space we needed. Kitchen was well kitted out, really enjoyed the garden and views. A bit farther from Corfe Castle than we expected but that was ok. The only negative was the place never gets dusted so the webs everywhere were a bit extreme. I dropped something in the bathroom and it was pretty gross retrieving it. Lots of stains on the carpet, but assume it gets vacuumed.

Perfect cottage, perfect location
The cottage had everything we needed, warm and comfortable with a beautiful outlook. We loved our stay. The location was perfect for us - close to Corfe Castle but not as busy. We enjoyed several long walks straight from the front door, which was just excellent. We hope to return with our family.

Perfect!
Amazing cottage complete with everything you need and more. From DVD, Freesat down espresso maker everything is here! The cottage itself has unbelievable views over the surrounding countryside. There was nothing better than sitting down in the garden after a long day exploring, enjoying a drink and the view while the dogs played. The garden is completely secure. After night fall, the sky is incredible, the Milky Way is clearly visible as there is so little light pollution. The cottage is close to the footpath to the coastal way and Chapmans pool which is well worth the walk. Highly recommended. One word of caution. The whole area seems to have one post code. Put that in the sat nav and you’ll end up on West Street in Corfe Castle. What3words location for the cottage is captive.jammy.reference or aim for Kingston Hill.

Heaven
I have been for the last 5 years and this is the first time I have stayed in the summer. It is heaven. Out ion the garden from 7am and there is sunshine until 7pm. The dogs are happy and safe, the buzz from the pub next door is lovely. The low level cloys over Corfe Castle when you are on the hill and it is bright blue sky is bonkers and then you see it either clear or disappear is magical. The only slight downfall is the number of buses passing by where the top level can see into the garden is on but if you have a laugh it really doesn't bother you. Highly recommended and a beautiful, well present cottage that I really call my secret retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. I will be back soon.

Perfect
Kingston - with the most fantastic views and walks down to Corfe, near to the coast and all the little villages that make Dorset special. On a rainy day, Poole and Bournemouth are close by for some retail meandering and Scotts Arms just across the road in case we need extra company. The cottage is quirky, comfortable and has everything to make the stay special. We love it!
