Ideal for small groups, couples & families - fabulous rural and sea views. A contemporary spacious detached house with a safe, secluded and walled garden. Situated in a prime position with spectacular rural and sea views looking towards Dorset's Jurassic Coast. Sleeps up to 8 +2 comfortably in 4 bedrooms. 3 double rooms have 5ft zip-link beds which can be made up either as king-size double or single/twin, and 1 smaller room with 3ft bunk beds. A king-size sofa bed in the lounge can accommodate the 2 extra people and these are charged at an extra £10 per night per person to cover linen, towels and extra water etc. Short breaks & weekly bookings are accepted throughout the year. The house has a light and sunny aspect and the 4-bedroomed accommodation is spread over three floors. Two double bedrooms and a family bathroom are on the 2nd floor, a large shower room the other double and the smaller bedroom are on the 1st floor and an additional loo on the ground floor. The fully fitted kitchen and dining room are on the ground floor and the double aspect lounge with amazing views is on the 1st floor. The décor is neutral and all rooms have wooden floors. There is gas central heating, free Wifi Internet access, parking for 4-5 cars, stereo, Sky TV with Netflix access.More

Perfect for our family's needs for a very enjoyable weeks stay! Plenty of room and spacious shower room, bathroom and separate toilet - not to be underestimated with a big family!

This property is ideal for a family stay with a gated garden and lovely lounge with great views. The house has a well equipped kitchen and is generously supplied with towels etc. The road to Portland affords stunning views of Chesil beach and Portland harbour....More

There is a key-safe at the property so you can check-in independently anytime after 4 pm. Although earlier check-in times can sometimes be arranged. We live nearby so will be on hand if you have any problems or questions but we will not impose upon your holiday. There are lots of leaflets about the area in the house and details of shops, restaurants, pubs etc will be sent to you with the directions and instructions. If you need any local information before or during your stay please message the owner.

About the neighbourhood
Portland is a holiday playground. Areas of outstanding natural beauty, wonderful walks, cliffs, and quarry land. There are many attractions to visit and activities to explore. Portland Bill Lighthouse Local country houses and gardens Portland Castle Portland Museum Abbotsbury sub tropical gardens and swannery Local RSPB reserves – Lodmoor and Radipole Portland bird observatory Jurassic Coast Bus – Weymouth to Bournemouth or Exeter There are several excellent golf clubs close by: Weymouth, Came Down and West Bay.
Getting around
If you do not wish to use your car there is a wonderful bus service that goes past the front door and stops 2 mins up the road. This service takes you to other parts of the island and into Weymouth. It operates from 6 am until midnight and runs every 15 mins. There is also an open-topped tourist bus operational in the summer from Weymouth.
