For a break during your stay from our rural tranquility, Scotland’s two largest cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh are easily accessible and provide many wonderful diversions including excellent museums and cultural interest.

We stayed at the cottages earlier this month and had a wonderful experience. Steve & Deborah were so welcoming and they left some lovely home made bread that Deborah had made that morning, eggs from their own hens and some other delicious local items. The...More

Owners were so friendly and supportive throughout our stay (including Zoey, the dog). Appreciate the local produce made available on the first day, making settling in so comfortable. Particularly admire commitment to energy saving and renewables in terms of the property's design and construction.More

Curlew Cottage is superbly well placed to explore this wonderfully scenic area. Outdoor and sporting activities abound with golf, walking, cycling and water sports well provided for locally. Scotland’s two largest cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh are easily accessible and provide many wonderful diversions including excellent museums and cultural interest. The iconic Loch Lomond is within walking distance and one of th best views of the Loch is from Duncryne Hill, the top of which is just 20 minutes walk from the front door.

Glasgow International Airport is our nearest airport and is about a 35 minute drive away, whilst Prestwick and Edinburgh International airports are each about a 70 minute drive away. All are well served by the low cost airlines whilst Glasgow and Prestwick are also served by BA and BMI.
