A great experience for our family of 6 persons. We stayed only 3 nights in this absolutely incredible cottage but we think that we could stay more : we felt like home ! Excellent contact with Freda. The place to be !

The first Fairtrade Town in Scotland, Aberfeldy is an ideal centre for enjoying the many attractions of Perthshire. Aberfeldy is located on the River Tay. Canoeing and fishing on the river are amongst the best in Scotland, the numerous walking trails accessible from the town include the famous “Birks of Aberfeldy”, whilst hill walking on the Ben Lawers range and Schiehallion regularly attract Munro baggers. Off-road cyclists and walkers can explore the many miles of trails on Drummond Hill or in the Griffin Forest. Aberfeldy's 18 hole course and the nearby course at Strathtay will please golfers with courses slightly further afield at Taymouth and Pitlochry. How to get there
If approaching by road from the A9, take the A827 turning approximately 5 miles south of Pitlochry, signposted Aberfeldy. After 10 miles, Aberfeldy is reached. Drive straight through the town, following signs for Kenmore and Crianlarich. Just before the end of speed limit signs at the western end of the town, turn left into Orchard Brae and then immediately right into The Beeches. Number 3 is the third house on the left hand side. If approaching from Crianlarich, take the A85 to Killin (11 miles) branching onto the A827 along the northern side of Loch Tay, towards Kenmore (15 miles). At Kenmore continue on the A827 to Aberfeldy (10 miles). Immediately after the speed limit signs at the outskirts of Aberfeldy, turn right into Orchard Brae and then immediately right again into The Beeches. ...
