Strathview Cottage is spacious, yet cosy cottage with large open plan living accommodation. The sitting room has a wood burning stove (logs are included in the rental) which lends itself perfectly to relaxing with friends, family or with a good book. It has 4 luxurious super-king ensuite bedrooms which can all be made into twin beds should you wish. The modern kitchen is beautifully appointed with plenty of storage space, seating for 8 around a large pine farmhouse kitchen table and all appliances required to cook up a storm (5 burner gas hob, oven, microwave, American Style fridge-freezer with water and ice machine and dishwasher). Balmore break
Lovely high quality accommodation with many added extras. Tremendous views and great food delivered from the farm shop. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding
Fantastic break with friends, exceeded our expectations. Quality interiors, amazing view and friendly owners. Farm tour undertaken where we met the animals and collected fresh eggs. Highly recommend

Spectacular Stay in Scotland
We booked accomodatation at Blairmore Farm for a family celebration over the September weekend this year. Strathmore Cottage was where we all gathered (we’d also booked Coachmans Cottage and Gardeners Cottage) and it could not have been more perfect.
All of the cottages were exceptional - beautifully decorated, modern, well equipment, spotlessly clean and so comfortable.
Extra touches such as the welcome basket with lovely farm produce and dressing gown/ slippers are so thoughtful.
The hosts provided a table extension so we could all dine together, and let us check in a little early - which we really appreciated.
The location is so peaceful with stunning views, and we loved meeting some of the farm animals.
Can’t thank everyone at Blairmore enough for providing amazing accommodation for some special family memories!

Beautifully appointed cottage, extremely well equipped and perfect for a family weekend
Strathview Cottage was the location of choice for a family gathering to celebrate a significant birthday. The location was easily accessible for all 7 of us travelling from different parts of the country although I'm glad we were not dealing with the hill in the winter! The cottage was tastefully decorated, so many beautiful Scottish touches and all of us we were so comfortable there. We took advantage of the final day of the good weather and BBQ'd on our first night. The rain ( long awaited for Ailsa) made a great view over the fields. The view of our sprinting friends "the coos" made for some great entertainment too.
Our welcome hamper was plentiful with all the items that we normally have to bring with us, a lovely cake to celebrate the birthday and some really lovely homely touches. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Perfect for our family gathering
This was pretty much perfect for our weekend gathering to celebrate dad's 85th birthday. Right from my first enquiry Ailsa couldn't do enough to ensure we had exactly what we needed. The house itself is lovely and spacious, and the weather was such that we could sit outside right into the evening looking at the fantastic views across the Perthshire countryside. The welcome hamper is a great idea and Ailsa even suggested that we could get an online grocery order delivered there and they'd sort it out for us! As some of us were flying up that seemed a good idea and it worked a treat.
One of our family is a wheelchair user and so the downstairs bedroom (en suite of course) and level access into the house made it very easy for us. My only comment would be that the access to the en suite is quite tight in a wheelchair; my son can take a few supported steps so we managed but someone who could not step might struggle a little bit. However I believe that there is also a fully accessible cottage at Blairmore (it was not available for our stay) which is fantastic.
The directions to find it are very clear; and the drive is indeed pretty steep and a bit gravelly in places but we managed fine. There is also plenty of parking.

Thank you so much for your review of Strathview Cottage, yes the downstairs bedroom ensuite is tight for a wheel chair, but as you correctly said Ard View Cottage and also Orchard Cottage both have full accessible wet rooms for wheel chair access. Hopefully we may see you again in the future where you will be able to try out one of these cottages. The driveway took quite a beating with the adverse weather over the winter and again with the intermittent heavy rain earlier on in the year but we do have plans to upgrade the surface and we are constantly monitoring it and repairing as required. Great location, stunning views, beautiful accommodation, helpful owners
6 of us stayed for 3 nights while attending a competition nearby. We were made very welcome. Welcome hamper with essentials and goodies were a lovely surprise. Household items were provided. Dinner ordered for one of our evenings was very good. The accommodation was spacious and light with great views from all rooms. The kitchen was modern and very well equipped. Plenty of lovely fluffy towels. Highland cattle in the field opposite were a picture! Would definitely book again if we were in the area.

Fantastic for everyone
Enjoyed 8 nights here with family aged 14 to 85. Lovely cottage with everything you need. Very comfortable and well heated. Enjoyed visiting the farm animals and the youngest of us enjoyed feeding the "pet" lambs. Very very good food. We enjoyed a number of dishes, steak pie, Shepherds pie, Fish pie and the chicken with pilaf rice and various deserts. All tasty and plentiful. Highly recommend. Other family members stayed in Gardners cottage which was also lovely and ideal for 2 couples or a small family.

Perfect get away
So sorry this has taken me so long to review!
I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The accommodation is truly exceptional...the robes and slippers are a treat, the beautiful welcome basket and the warm and welcoming atmosphere is 2nd to none! We also ordered a mral from the kitchen which was as tasty as any restaurant ive ever been to! We would love to visit again one day, thanks for having us!x

Beautiful house!
The house itself is beautiful and very well equipped. All the little touches made our time there as a group so special. It is immaculate and Alisa made sure that everything was perfect. The hamper was a great touch too.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. Can’t recommend it enough.

Family Gathering
I can highly recommend this beautifully furnished, spacious cottage, with lots of lovely extra touches, particularly the welcome hamper. The views down the valley from the full length windows are gorgeous, particularly at Autumn sunrise. The huge open plan contemporary kitchen with generous farmhouse dining table and comfortable sofas grouped round a wood burning stove were exactly what I was looking for, for a convivial family gathering. The ground floor ensuite double bedroom suited my parents perfectly. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful, and their farm produce was excellent (we bought extra sausages to take home, they were so good!). The countryside was beautiful and nearby Crieff is a charming town.
