Hazelgrove enjoys an elevated position overlooking Loch Ness, at Inverfarigaig, midway down the south eastern shore of Loch Ness, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and 16 miles from both the city of Inverness and the village of Fort Augustus. The cottage has a charm all of its own, with stunning views over Loch Ness to the famous Urquhart Castle. The veranda is for long summer evenings to watch the sun go down over the loch. Miles of waymarked trails meander through Farigaig forest, to some of the finest viewpoints on Loch Ness. The kids and dogs will love it and with a secure fenced rear garden, you can relax with peace of mind. It is only a 5 minute walk down to the shores of Loch Ness where you can enjoy the scenery of this wonderful area. ...Hazelgrove enjoys an elevated position overlooking Loch Ness, at Inverfarigaig, midway down the south eastern shore of Loch Ness, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands and 16 miles from both the city of Inverness and the village of Fort Augustus. About the neighbourhood
Hazelgrove is located on the quiet unspolt south east side of Loch Ness, just 17 miles from the city of Inverness. It has fabulous views of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. There are miles of waymarked paths behind Hazelgrove so ideal for walking and of course dogs will love it
Getting around
The easiest way to see the sights is by car. There is a local bus service into Inverness if you want to leave the car at the cottage one day.
