Biggar, South Lanarkshire, Scotland
In the Scottish Borders but less than 2 miles from the pretty market town of Biggar, The New Farmhouse is a generous, very well equipped self catering lodge with wood burning stove. It has its own private grounds with lockable bike shed, swings and plenty of parking. Ideal for families, mountain bikers, fishermen and anyone wishing a beautiful base from which to explore the Borders, South Lanarkshire or Edinburgh and Glasgow. Great for relaxing too with lovely views all round.

We enjoyed a lovely retreat to the New Farmhouse, originally we were a family of 7, however we stayed with 2 adults a child and our dog. We loved the space, the farmhouse was fresh and very clean. The land around is gorgeous and very remote. We had to drive out to get to the shops and other trips out...

My husband and I have just returned from spending 4 nights in this fabulous farmhouse, we could not fault this farmhouse at all, and we can't wait to return, everything was spotless, sheets/towels, I'd give this 10 stars if I could, and thank you Joyce the owner, we welcomed us, look forward to our return, Mr And Mrs White.
