As this is the only holiday Cottage we own and have used it for our own holidays for the 14 years we have had the privilege of owning it we have catalogued all the things to do, walks and beaches etc in a manual available to all guests to use. We now have several returning clients who pre book years in advance so please don’t be disappointed if dates you might require are booked. Planning well in advance to book anywhere in the Ross area on Mull is essential due to high demand from visitors worldwide.

Despite the wild, windy wet weather and disrupted ferries, this cottage provided a lovely haven. When we did get out the beaches, cliffs and staffa were amazing. Well equipped cottage, very clean and great open fire.

Tigh-na-Failte is a well known cottage in arguably the best position for sea view and beach access on the Isle of Mull..The walks direct from the cottage are fantastic taking in wonderful views and plenty of wildlife..The area is of outstanding beauty with sandy beaches surrounded by red granite which enhances the unbelievable red sunsets (see picture)..The Keel Row pub, a short walk away, is a true Scottish pub serving local ales and very good food..The Ninth Wave restaurant, a walk away from the cottage, is well known for its fresh sea food taken on the day of serving from the local waters by John and cooked to perfection by his wife Carla. The Isle of Iona is a short ferry away from the cottage. Iona is a world class heritage site including the Iona Abbey.The beaches close to the cottag... more
