My husband stayed at Back Brae Lodge and would highly recommend it. It was a great location, and a lovely clean and tidy house. Kenny was very accommodating and helpful during booking.

The Isle of Mull is a chocolate box of delights for the traveller who enjoys, walking, culture and a different lifestyle for a holiday. Excellent property in an ideal location, fully furnished and equipped and supplied with wifi, netflix account and lots of books and DVDs. Ideal for week away and base to explore Mull and beyond. No problems with parking on street. Will definitely look to return in the future.

The accommodation is ideal for one couple or a single, and adaptable for a family group. The maximum occupancy is three adults, or two adults with children. Sleeping accommodation comprises one kingsize double bedroom, with two small double sofa beds (recommended one adult per sofa bed for comfort) within the upper floor living area. A travel cot is provided for a baby, however the house is not furnished to be completely toddler-proof.

Back Brae Lodge is an open-plan residence furnished to a high standard. The spacious L-shaped upper floor combines the living area, dining area, kitchen and extra sleeping space. About the neighbourhood
Much of Mull's population lives in Tobermory, the home to a single malt Scotch whisky distillery, where you can smell the fumes wafting across the Bay. You probably won't bump into anyone from Balamory here, as it was a fictional place created for childrens' television. The coloured houses are real though.
Getting around
If you've brought your car, have a drive around the island and stop at your leisure at any places of interest. There is a bus service between the main island villages of Dervaig, Salen, Craignure and Fionnphort (the ferry terminal for Iona). Taxis and car hire are also available. Try to plan in advance as travel services can get busy in the peak season.
