Goose Cottage is a delightful stone steading, situated in beautiful countryside within the heart of Central Scotland. This lovely cottage sits in a quiet converted steading and is only a short drive from shops and local restaurants. This is a fantastic location giving you wonderful countryside views but with easy access to public transport and motorways to explore further afield. Glasgow and Edinburgh can both be reached within a half hour drive. Stirling and Perthshire can be reached within an hour. The cottage is attractively presented, with good attention to detail. The lounge and kitchen are open plan and boast a wood burning stove. The lounge has a comfortable leather sofa and two easy chairs. A picture window looks out into the west facing courtyard. We stayed as a family of 4 at Goose Cottage for 2 weeks over Easter while visiting family locally. The house is clean, cosy, comfortable and in a perfect spot for peace and quiet but also to access Edinburgh, train stations, airport and local amenities....More

There are many areas of historical significance such as Cairnpapple, a prehistoric burial ground, and Linlithgow Palace, the birthplace of Mary, Queen of Scots which has a magnificent lochside location.
