Hawthorn Park Apartment – The best of both worlds. It has remained true to its heritage during restoration by maintaining some original features, spacious rooms with high ceilings, closing shutters at all windows. The chandelier in the living room, dining area has a dimmer switch to allow you to set a romantic or ambient atmosphere. Enjoy the luxury of a cosy fire from the wood burning stove in a 1850 original villa. We have carefully chosen the decoration for the apartment, the rooms with a view, one to the sea and the other to the garden, both have king size beds in them. For your comfort we have included all the modern convenience of central heating, Wi-fi, a modern bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher and modern appliances. In keeping with the original character we retained the clothes pulley and fireplace. We are situated in a quite location on the ground floor with our distinctive blue door and railings. Immediately outside the front door you will find lovely spots for quiet moments of relaxation in the sitting areas with choice of a bench or patio seating. This apartment has the luxury of 2 further outdoor spaces. A shared private enclosed safe garden to the front. For the more adventurous behind the trellis up the stairs there is a private terraced garden with views across the rooftops and onto Rothesay bay. Hawthorn Park is located within the conservation area of Rothesay, less than 5 min from the newly renovated Pavillion with the sailing club and beach 2 mins away. Explore lovely walks in Skeoch woods on your doorstep or Stroll along the promenade to the harbour, castle, café, restaurants, bars, shops, art galleries and the discovery centre which hosts the cinema, they are all within a 10 min walk from the apartment. There is a bus stop 2 mins from us which will take you into town or around the island. Off road parking available at property. Sea views and a garden overlooking the bay make for an ideal breakaway destination for friends, couples or families alike, Sleeps 4.More

The flat was big enough for 2 couples or a couple and 2 children i would say the kitchen was well equipped and there were games and wifi there to use the owners leave you a note to explain about the windows being old so...More
