A charming luxury cottage with lovely views to the Campsie Fells,
perfectly situated midway between the tranquil east bank of Loch Lomond and the breathtaking grandeur of the Trossachs. Furnished and equipped to the highest standard, the cottage is a perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of Scotland. Argyll, the Southern Highlands, Glasgow, Stirling, Edinburgh and Perth are all within easy reach.

Price includes electricity, linen & towels, plus kitchen essentials such as Fair Trade tea & coffee, and guests are supplied with a welcome pack of Scottish, local and home made provisions. There are 2 bedrooms with double or twin beds as required. A cot & high chair are available. Private parking. No smoking & no pets please.

Ballat Smithy Cottage is situated approximately 30 minutes by car from Glasgow and Stirling, and approximately 1 hour by car from Edinburgh. Guests arriving by air at Glasgow Abbotsinch (30 minutes), Glasgow Prestwick (75 minutes approx) or Edinburgh (1hour ) will find ample car hire options at the airports; car hire is also available at Stirling railway station. Guests driving to Scotland from England are likely to arrive via the M6 and M74 into Glasgow or the A1 into Edinburgh. The drive to the cottage from any of these arrival points offers an inspiring introduction to Scotland's glorious scenery.
