Sunset from the house - one of our visitors favourite things to do is watch the sky!

I dealt with Linda when booking the holiday and she couldn't have been more helpful. We were on holiday with our extended family and there was plenty of space for all of us. We arrived to beautiful weather and were stunned by the amazing views from the garden and the living room - we spent the evening in the latter and witnessed an incredible sunset. A great start! About the neighbourhood
Right where we are there's a 4-mile sandy beach with safe swimming for kids. Reputedly the best kite-surfing and kite-boarding beach in the UK. We even have rock pools on one end, right where you come down the footpath too. Kids love poking around for crabs and shrimps. Also lots of sand dunes to explore.

Just a mile up the road is the famous town of Harlech, with its magnificent castle, good shopping facilities, pubs, some fine restaurants, and a world-class golf course. There's a ton of stuff to do - just google 'Harlech days out' and you'll see.
Getting around
You're going to want a car while you’re here. You can walk to the beach, into Harlech for shops and restaurants, and into the mountains behind the house, but you’re within 30 minutes drive of truly spectacular scenery in all directions, and you’re going to want to get there!

However, you can come by train - there’s a station just 10 minutes walk away. Also there’s a bus service that goes right by the house.

The easiest way to get here is by car, and you'll be glad of one once you're here. There's loads of parking space - we're up a private track.

The nearest airport is Manchester. Drive time around 2 hours.

There’s a ferry from Ireland that comes in at Holyhead in Anglesea, about 90 minutes drive away.
