Remote enough for peace, close enough to town to explore
Stayed early august, 13 people in one house that was large enough for us to all have space. Clean, tidy and very well equipped, only thing we longed for was more fridge space as it was roasting hot and keeping cold drinks was a must, freezer has an ice maker so not all was lost. Host was 100% unobtrusive, got to enjoy it with no disturbance. Great location for exploring north Wales. House is situated on a working farm, got to see sheep and cows close up, usual farm smells that you get used to after half a day, certainly nothing offensive even in the 30 degree heat. More than enough toilet and bathroom space, no issues with being too hot or cold, water plentiful for more than one shower to be in use at a time. Living room has enough seats for everyone to sit, this was a real bonus and something we have lacked in similar sized properties over the years. Internet was reasonable for a rural location, but then had flawless 4g signal so the kids could play games on their iPads too. A perfect base to visit Cheshire, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and Prestatyn, plenty of local shops are only 10 minutes away.
