This little cottage is detached, but located just behind a row of four others, in the grounds of the former home of Lloyd George, above the village of Llanystumdwy, 2 miles west of Criccieth and 6 miles from Porthmadog - an ideal location for touring north Snowdonia National Park and the Lleyn Peninsula. The cottage has a footpath down to the nearest beach, just a mile away. The key had to be collected from another place a couple of miles away, and returned there on leaving. The cottage is very basic. Small fridge with ice box. The ice box was full of water as the fridge was switched off at the wall....More

This is a good little place to stay if you intend to be out a lot. It is very basic, no frills and does unfortunately smell of damp with no heating on but for the money it is great. There is a raised 'patio' area...More
