About the neighbourhood
Trellech is a picturesque historical village close to the entrance to the forest of Dean. 5 miles from Monmouth. The impressive village church, the three Harold's Stones and The Virtuous Well steep this lovely village in history and with its scenic historic walks it is a paradise for ramblers, historians and countryside lovers all year round. Venture away from this beautiful village and you will enjoy Tintern Abbey, Raglan Castle, Ross-on-Wye or a little further, the coast, Big Pit Museum, or even a round of golf at the famous Celtic Manor. Symonds Yat is a short drive where you can picnic by the river, hire kayaks, visit the butterfly farm, maze and play laser tag. A wonderful Trellech cottage location for all the family.
