The lodge does not have great reception of wifi and the signal is a little 'hit and miss' around the site and indeed in Wales in general. There is strong wifi signal around the entertainment and main central areas. It is an ideal base from which to explore North Wales and has many golf courses and pony trekking facilities close by. The market town of Pwllheli with its large marina and array of shops is only a short drive away.More

A nice quiet location on the Haven site, but still close enough to the large choice of amenities and activities. Property is clean, well laid out and also well equipped.

About the neighbourhood
The market town of Pwllheli is a short (5 minutes) drive away with its thriving marina and many shops (including a large Asda supermarket), restaurants and bars. Porthmadog is around 15 minute drive away with nearby golf course and the magnificent Blackrock Sands - miles of golden sandy beach which you can take your car and pets onto (small local charge). Also within easy reach of Criccieth, Abersoch and Portmerion (the setting of the 60's cult classic series 'The Prisoner'). Numerous seaside towns all within easy reach and the famous Caernarfon Castle is a 30 minute drive away. Nearby rabbit farm offering pony rides for the children. Also nearby go karts for the adults and ten pin bowling. So much to do you will be coming back for more!
