This lovely spacious house is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and only a short stroll to the beautiful sandy beaches of Rhoscolyn and Silver Bay, . Interaction with guests
You will be provided with details about how to access the house before you arrive. The owner can be contacted at all times during your stay and our housekeeper who lives nearby is available if any urgent problems arise. Contact details for the owner and the housekeeper will also be provided before you arrive.

All linen except beach towels is included. Weekly renting is normally Saturday to Saturday and shorter stays are also available outside peak weeks. We welcome visitors with well behaved pets but please discuss this with us first.

You can get emergency provisions such as milk from Silver Bay reception next door, as well as the morning paper and a full range of shops for all your other provisions is available in Valley 3 miles away.

Lovely relaxing week with my 92 year old mother Lunch in the white eagle, the marram grass and the black seal White eagle outstanding. Marram grass a special treat. Black seal lovely. Will be back

My family and I have been to stay in this lovely house again. Second time around it was just as good. The house is clean comfortable, has everything you could possibly need for a great time. Beach at Silver Bay has to be seen to be believed we were fortunate with the weather but the house is spacious enough if...

Large, clean bungalow, with huge picture windows looking out to sea. Large fenced enclosed garden, however a dog could escape. There is some chicken wire along one side, but this needs to be extended all around to make it truly safe. Fortunately my dog would stay within the boundaries. Need to be aware that the last, approximate, mile is down...

About the neighbourhood
Rhoscolyn provides a peaceful holiday retreat, with areas of particular beauty including the main sandy bay and several smaller beaches with heather covered headlands forming part of its coastline. Rhoscolyn beach has a distinctly un-spoiled feel about it and provides a beautiful spot to relax, play in the sand or venture in to the sea for a swim or some water sports. Rhoscolyn beach provides views out to several smaller islands and if you venture out by boat, you will be greeted by the spectacular Beacon-Rock, a refuge for sailors in the past. The beacon still stands alone on the island, which is now inhabited by the local grey seal colony and a variety of sea birds.

Popular activities here include cliff-top walks along the headland.
Getting around
A car is really needed to get to the house but once there, there are lovely walks to Rhoscolyn and Silver Bay beaches and beyond. If you want to go out for a drink then the bar at Silver Bay is just 200 yards away. The White Eagle pub is about 20 minutes walk, just 5 minutes drive. Both provide excellent food but during peak periods booking a table is strongly advised.

Follow the A55 across Anglesey leaving at the junction sign posted Valley. Follow the sign posts to Valley and at the first set of traffic lights, turn left, sign posted Trearddur Bay and Four Mile Bridge. Continue for approximately 2 miles over Valley railway crossing, a small roundabout and finally a bridge over the estuary and turn left shortly afterwards, opposite Y Gegin Fach Cafe – sign posted to Rhoscolyn. Continue for approximately one mile and after an S bend there is a left turning signposted Silver Bay Holiday Park. Take this turn and follow this road for half a mile.
