Holiday Rental House
This charming sea-facing cottage, on the Anglesey coast line, should appeal to walkers, nature lovers and those seeking an 'on the water' retreat. There are two quiet beaches, and Rhoscolyn Bay is believed to be a favourite of the Royals. The house which sleeps 10 boasts its own private headland, boat house and jetty. A large kitchen and two open fires allows cosy in-house entertaining. For sleeping, you have the choice of a beautiful master suite which boasts a huge comfortable bed and bathroom together with dressing area and enviable views of the bay. 4 further bedrooms offer a choice of views and sleeping arrangements. One double room is accessed by ladder, another offers victorian bunk beds. All are tastefully and individually decorated, and sumptuously soft furnished.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.
If you have submitted a review for a holiday rental property, we may also ask that you provide us with proof of your stay to ensure that your review is attached to the correct rental property.

One of my favourite places on earth!
What a spot and what a house! This is truly one of the most breathtaking spots for a beach holiday, surrounded by sea, space and fresh air. A completely private property and waking up here every day to views of sea and sounds of waves is just so special. It feels so remote driving across the beach to get to and spending your time surrounded by coastal views and beautiful beaches. So much to do, boat trips, water sports, long walks, even a fresh morning swim! The beaches are some of the most beautiful. The property is stunning and perfectly decorated for a real coastal retreat feel. The kitchen is fully equipped for a big feast, my favourite is heading out on the boat to catch your dinner, and returning to cook up your catch of the day and tucking in, with views of the beautiful sea. The bedrooms feel special and different, super cosy, clean and comfortable. If you want a cosy evening then the lounge is perfect for a glass of wine round the fire, or gather round the perfect dining table for a family feast. This property has everything you will ever need for a perfect beach holiday or long weekend. Where else do you get a beautiful house, private and surrounded by stunning views and water. The headland is a perfect spot for sunset drinks, and equally getting up and watching the sunrise is well worth the early start. Every single spot here is perfect - You really do feel like you are a million miles away, we would 100% return - it’s the perfect beach retreat and literally one of my favourite places to visit!

Perfect secluded getaway!
The house is perfectly located on the Anglesey coastline with fantastic views of the ocean from almost every angle. With a stunning garden and beaches on either side, it is perfect for getting outside and dipping a toe in the clear blue waters. The house itself is extremely spacious and perfect for a family getaway, with comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms and spacious communal areas. There is also a fantastic pub "The White Eagle" just a short walk away over the beach, that serves great food, beer and wine. In short, I could not recommend this place enough! We had such a fantastic time and it felt like a proper escape from the rest of the world.

Stunning property with breathtaking views
The retreat is ultimate perfection, from the snug costal decor to the breathtaking views - it’s the perfect place to escape to with friends and family. The 360 ocean views are spectacular and make you feel like you are on your own little island - each morning when you wake up you are blown away by the beautiful and peaceful setting. Thank you for an incredible stay - we loved every moment.

Magical & secluded private peninsula with magnificent views
Truly one of the most breathtakingly stunning settings to stay. Surrounded by almost 360o of sea and beaches that receives regular visits from a family of inquisitive seals. The house is luxuriously decorated creating a cosy and charming atmosphere whilst being able to enjoy views from every window. In the evenings there is nothing more wonderful than coming home after a days fishing and enjoying the days catch for supper - lobster, prawns, mackerel, samphire and mussels which makes the food taste even more delicious! The whole area is like a giant playground both for children and for adults - so much to do - from kayaking, swimming, fishing, sailing, stand up paddling to walking and climbing mountains - and so much ancient history in the area to explore, too. The property also has its own helipad. I highly recommend staying here and allowing oneself to unwind and relax and I only wish to have been able to stay longer. I cannot wait for the next opportunity to go back!!!! A truly magical experience

In one word, this house and its location is MAGNIFICENT!
The house is exceptionally private, surrounded by stunning landscape and wildlife. Truly special. The photos don’t do it justice. The location is very unique with direct private access to the beach. I stayed here for a month and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is full of charm and character, very comfortable and clearly extremely well maintained by its lovely owners. Lots of space and great for groups with plenty of hangout nooks. Our host was always on hand with suggestions and tips. Being a chef, I found the kitchen very well equipped and specially good for entertaining. Also, managed to get access to fresh local produce easily from the village. My two favourite things there were watching the sunset on the headlands (great spot for a drink) and watching the Seals come into the bay in the mornings. What a magical place to escape to!

Beautiful Secluded home with its own beach and private helipad
We stayed here in August 2020, with a group of friends and absolutely loved every moment of it! The house is tastefully decorated, and has such a nice feel to it. The kitchen is fully equipped, so meals were a delight... hearing the sound of the sea, being surrounded by the breathtaking views and lovely rooms made the holiday so magical. There are a lots of things to do - we went sea Kayaking, where we saw seals, we went swimming in the sea every day, we went fishing for prawns locally, and learnt how to collect edible seaweed, we went for hikes, and fished for Mackeral in the sea. In the evenings, we cooked Lobster, prawns and linguine and enjoyed it on the patio, whilst watching the sunset and the tide come in. It was magical... The property is situated on a Private peninsula so we had a lot of space to chill out in. It’s such an incredible place! Each and every one of us loved it and we hope to be coming back next year.

Wonderful remote private retreat in Angelsea
I’ve been a couple times to this amazing place. In the height of summer and again at the very end of summer. Both were wonderful times to visit. I liked the seclusion and privacy, situated on its own peninsula between two beaches but with direct access from what must have been the old coast guards boat house which now forms part of the property. We launched our canoes from there and did some waterskiing and lobster potting during our stay. There’s a superb inlet area round the next bay which has really flat water for waterskiing or just boating/paddle boarding. The fresh seafood from the local fishermen is fantastic. We had barbecues on the large terraces, the scenery was stunning. The house itself is very comfortable and reflects its location. In summary, this is a very special place, a great sea-side retreat.

An amazing haven on top of the sea!!
Pen Y Graig is such a special place. The house is beautiful and totally fit our needs but the location is just simply outstanding. To be able to have beach and water virtually all the way around and located on an exceptionally beautiful little bay it is incredible. Waking up to the sound of seagulls and splashes of the water for me was heaven. We all left feeling fully relaxed at the end of our long weekend. The house has beautiful interiors with above expected details; where does that fabric in the lounge come from? Fabulous coastal walks, lovely local pub an easy walk away but by far the best bit for us was feeling like we were in another world for a few days....and swimming in the sea. We will be back.
