Holiday Rental House
Caradoc is the ideal base for summer holidays and winter escapes. This attractive, spacious holiday bungalow sleeps seven and offers spectacular views over Rhosneigr’s Maelog Lake towards Snowdonia. It enjoys a large corner plot backing onto fields with grazing animals which lead down to the lake. There is a large lawned area ideal for games (several provided) and a large parking area for several cars. The property is set in a peaceful location, with sunrises to die for, but it’s less than five minutes to the beaches, restaurants, golf, tennis, bowls and shops. There is table tennis in the garage for wet and windy days. We were awarded 4 star rating with the Welsh Tourist board. About the neighbourhood
Caradoc is in a very peaceful location at the end of a culdesac next to fields leading down to Lake Maelog. There is a path round the lake which makes a lovely walk. (About 45 minutes) It is also only a short walk to the dunes and beach where you can walk for miles. Heaven for dogs!! Rhosneigr is very well known for all water sports especially windsurfing and kite surfing. The Surf shop arranges lessons.
Getting around
There is no need for a car once you are in Rhosneigr as everything is close by but a car is recommended if you want to see the Anglesey sights There is a large Tesco in both Holyhead and Bangor and a Waitrose in Menai Bridge but we have a small supermarket/ post office in Rhosneigr which supplies most things.
