Interaction with guests
Generally available but sometimes other commitments take us away. We are very happy to give space or interact as much as is wanted. We are always keen to talk about the local area and suggest activities and days out. Plenty of personal knowledge about cycling, walking, climbing and paddling in this area; as well as activities for all ages.

About the neighbourhood
Chosen by many outdoor adventure centres, the area is well known for it's adventure sports, providing many options for all ages and inclinations. Let us know what you are after and we can always come up with a few suggestions that fit the bill. These can range from quiet and flat cycle paths to the nearby national bike centre; or big mountain days out to easy afternoon walks suitable for toddlers. The nearest beach is 10 minutes away, with a choice of 4 within 20 minutes drive. Several fly fishing venues are nearby or sea fishing from a charter boat. Alternatively, the famous Talyllyn and the less well known Fairbourne steam railways are both within 8 miles. A range of shops and restaurants are in Tywyn for food and other essentials.
Getting around
Located near the coastal road, driving is straight forward through lovely scenery. Plenty of free, private parking is available. There is a local bus service which runs into the village, the nearest stop being a 5 minute walk. The bus service goes either north or south to our nearest towns. The closer of the two (Tywyn) is 10 minutes by bus and has our nearest large railway station. Alternatively, a rail request stop is 5km away. Local taxi firms serve the area and are able to transfer from the station to the property. National cycle routes run through the village with plenty of footpaths to explore to.
