If you haven't visited this part of Wales before, this lovely cottage is an ideal base to experience the West Coast of Wales and the stunning Snowdonia countryside. Tywyn's renowned 'Magic Lantern' cinema & arts venue is just around the corner. The main line train station is only 5 mins away as well as the world famous Tal-y-llyn Railway ( the world’s 1st preserved railway). Relax in style and enjoy everything this fabulous house has to offer. Bronmeirion Cottage comfortably sleeps 6. It has a separate lounge, big kitchen/diner, utility room, the 3 bedrooms are bright and spacious and there is a family bathroom. Outside is a small patio area with a barbecue. The cottage has gas central heating and double glazing. All of the downstairs has laminate flooring and the bedrooms have fitted carpets. Whether you are looking for adventure, or a relaxing break away from it all, you will find everything within easy reach. Snowdonia National Park is right on the doorstep with the stunning Cader Idris only a 10 minute drive from the property. DOWNSTAIRS: As you enter the property there is a lovely original Victorian wooden stair case. To the left is the lounge with the kitchen/diner to the rear. Lounge: A Gas ‘Living Fire’ provides the central feature in this lovely room. Lounge seats for 7 inc a 3 seater leather settee and 2 armchairs. There is a 42” flat screen ‘Smart’ TV, a DVD player and a Radio / CD with iPhone dock and a selection of DVDs and CDs. The TV has internet facility. Kitchen/Diner: This lovely room also features a Gas ‘Living Fire’ fireplace, beamed ceiling, feature ‘pulley’ and window overlooking the terrace. The kitchen has a Belling Gas Cooker, with double oven & grill, a dishwasher, undercounted fridge, an iron and ironing board, plus all the necessary cooking; utensils, Kettle, Toaster, Microwave and in the utility is another Fridge-freezer. The ‘dining’ end has a traditional Welsh Dresser, a big pine dining table and dining seats for 6. Utility Room: With Fridge/Freezer and storage for beach equipment/boards & wetsuits. There is no washing machine at present, but the Tywyn laundrette is just round the corner and they do a service wash. UPSTAIRS: The upstairs is set over 2 floors. All the bedrooms have carpeted flooring. Double Bedroom 1: This lovely room with an original cast iron fireplace is on the first floor and has a pine 4’6” double bed, a double pine wardrobe with 3 drawers and a 5 drawer chest of drawers. Twin Bedroom 2: This bedroom is also on the first floor and features an original cast iron fireplace, it has twin single beds, a double pine wardrobe and 4 drawer chest of drawers.. Double Bedroom 3: This bedroom is on the second floor and has a 5ft double bed and a 6 drawer pine chest of drawers and a hanging rail. The top landing also provides some additional storage space. Family Bathroom: The bathroom is on the first floor, with cushion flooring and has a WC, wash basin and bath with shower over. Outdoors There is a small, private sun trap yard with a Bistro style table and 2 chairs for use out of doors in fine weather. A slate base is available for placing disposable barbeques and there is a folding barbeque available in the dining room cupboard. So, don’t delay, book today, Bronmeirion in Tywyn has everything you need for that perfect beach holiday!! Short breaks when available: Monday- Friday 4 nights & Friday-Monday 3 nights. Arrivals from 4.00 pm vacate by 10.00 am. A minimum charge of £250 applies to every booking. Christmas dates 22nd to 29th Dec & New Year 30th December to 5th January Where a 1 week minimum applies, our changeover day is SATURDAY Prices shown are in pounds sterling per week, inclusive of electric, bedding & towels. Please bring your own beach towels. We request a 25% deposit on booking, with the balance due 8 weeks before the arrival date. We also ask for a £50 security deposit, which is refundable providing there are no breakages or damage to the property. We accept payment by card BACS bank transfer or by cheque. A £35 booking fee applies to each booking. More

We stayed in Bronmeirion for a whole week and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a very nice and well looked after cosy cottage with 3 comfortable bedrooms, modern kitchen and all amenities included, very close to all shops, mountains, beach and train station. Ideal spot...More

Really enjoyed our stay in the cottage. Would definitely love to come again. Lovely and warm in the cold weather .Close to everything and easy parking nearby. Had a lovely meal at the pub round the corner. Close to Aberdovey and beach.

Tywyn has a sunny west-facing 'Blue Flag' sandy beach. Don't miss the spectacular sunsets over the bay. From early Spring through till Autumn, dolphins and porpoise can be spotted close to the shore, an amazing sight to see! Its not unusual to see them on a daily basis in pods of up to 20. Tywyn is possibly the only place on the West Coast where you can park for FREE virtually right on the beach. There is level access to the town where there are supermarkets, shops, bistros (you must try' Salt Marsh Kitchen' opposite the market hall) cafes, banks, a post office, cinema, health centre, cottage hospital, several churches, leisure centre and an indoor swimming pool.
