The property was located in a lovely setting although it was extremely small and came with a few snags. For two days we had no hot water caused by a depleted oil tank this made life a little difficult for bathing and washing. It was impossible to sit outside and enjoy the good weather as mine host spent all day...

We spent a great week in this cosy cottage. It had everything we needed for a peaceful and relaxing break plus a thoughtful welcome pack. Kidwelly offers many attractions. The medieval castle and old priory church are in the centre of town, whilst the industrial museum is just outside at Mynddygarreg. The yearly carnival is held in July, whilst the castle offers medieval attractions during July and August. By car: One hour from Cardiff Wales airport; one and a quarter hour from the Severn Bridge; One hour from the Rosslare to Pembroke Ferry terminal.<BR><BR>By rail: Fast and frequent services to Swansea then regular train stops at stations throughout Carmarthen to include Kidwelly. <BR><BR>Leave M4 at Junction 49 and follow the signs for Carmarthen (A48).
