Overview
Cottage -
1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 2
Lampeter, Ceredigion, Wales
Cosy rural hideaway for two nestled in rolling Welsh countryside with stunning views over the Teifi Valley. Crammed with character, we have worked hard to retain as many original features as possible. Enjoy a drink from the private terrace or while away an afternoon in our tranquil picnic meadow. The woodburner is perfect for curling up in front of on those chilly summer evenings or you can relax in the bubbles in the luxury 6ft bath. Conveniently located within 2 miles of Lampeter, where you can get those essentials, eat out and explore, and a short distance from the heritage Cardigan Bay coastline for days out and dolphin spotting, Woodpecker Cottage is equipped with everything you'll need for your stay.

We stayed in Woodpecker Cottage and thoroughly recommend both the cottage and the stunning location; the sunsets were simply spectacular and we were fortunate enough to experience a couple of these during our stay. After our long journey, we were greeted by a lovely welcome pack which had a few basics to get us started and we really felt that...

We loved many aspects of this cottage but it was tiny and a car was required for getting out to eat or shop. Beautiful views and we were lucky with the weather.

Management response:

Thank you for the review. We are disappointed with your comments as the vast majority of our guests love the character of the property. The cottage is suitable for 2 people, having one bedroom, and this is made clear in the description, as is the location of the cottage and that a 'car is advisable'. But being under 2 miles...

This is an excellent barn conversion. Small but much better equipped than many larger places with seperate shower and bath, full size cooker, dishwasher, TV, DVD, wifi etc. Lovely setting. Very helpful owner and visits from a friendly chicken.
