Holiday Rental House
The Old Coach House is a small stone barn conversion right in the middle of Pembrokeshire in a village close to the Preselis, and a twenty minute drive to the top rated Pembrokeshire Coast Path in the National Park that takes in Newgale beach, Solva harbour, St David's cathedral, Porthgain, Abercastle, Fishguard and on towards Newport and Cardigan. The main barn is an airy, full height living and dining space, with enormous sofas, and two log burning stoves for heating. There is no television (by design) but full wi-fi broadband. A steep wooden stair leads to the mezzanine sleeping space up in the eaves. The bed is low on the floor but luxuriously comfortable and romantic. It is a wonderfully cosy experience to lie in bed and look out over the main space – perfect for one couple sharing...The Old Coach House is a small stone barn conversion right in the middle of Pembrokeshire in a village close to the Preselis, and a twenty minute drive to the top rated Pembrokeshire Coast Path in the National Park that takes in Newgale beach, Solva harbour, St David's cathedral, Porthgain, Abercastle, Fishguard and on towards Newport and Cardigan. It is a serene little place and you may well find yourself indulging in a spot of creative thinking! A small extension off the main barn leads to the kitchen and bathroom with access to the side garden and patio. The kitchen (no microwave) is well-equipped for relaxed self-catering with loads of crockery and linen. The kitchen and bathroom have underfloor heating for chillier days. More

This was my fourth stay in the Mary and Steve's beautiful cottage. I find it the perfect sanctuary and an inspiring space to be in. Mary's warm but minimal style gives the cottage a cosy and contemporary feel. With two wood burners and the most...More

About the neighbourhood
There are many galleries (oriels) and craft workshops that are listed on various sites. Artists and makers are an important part of the community in Pembrokeshire and there are also workshops that you might like to attend during your stay. It is always nice to exercise outdoors on holiday but there are also excellent gym facilities at the sports and leisure centres in Fishguard and Haverfordwest – both under twenty minutes away. There are a range of classes every day which can be booked and paid for as a visitor, and you can sign a form to waive an induction at the gym if you are a regular user. Please ask us if you would like more information, but there are good web pages for both centres. Just 8 miles away in Fishguard the ferry leaves daily for Ireland so you could tie a Pembrokeshire holiday in with a tour of Ireland too.
