The Old Gatehouse is a renovated period stone cottage likely dating back to the 1800s. It is tastefully decorated to a high standard with a large stone inglenook fireplace with Oak doors and features throughout.

The property sits at the top of the driveway which leads to Underdown Country House which has a history dating back to Oliver Cromwell and the siege of Pembroke Castle.

You can walk to the historic town of Pembroke in 5 – 10 minutes. The coast is just 10 minutes away by car where you’ll find beautiful beaches and access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.

The Old Gatehouse is suitable for families and small groups who wish easy access to all Pembrokeshire has to offer but within a short walk away from Pembroke town and local amenities.

The best way to get around is by car in order to access the full delights of Pembrokeshire. Pembroke has a train station and there are local buses that run to a timetable. There is also a coastal shuttle bus running in the summer.

Airport: Cardiff: 154.0 km
Railway: Pembroke: 0.5 km
Ferry: Pembroke Dock: 5.4 km
From the M4: Follow the A48 to Carmarthen, then the A40 westbound towards St Clears. At the end of the dual carriageway, take the 1st roundabout exit to Pembroke Dock on the A477. After 19 miles, look for the sign bearing left to Pembroke on the A4075. At the mini roundabout in Pembroke, take the 2nd exit down the hill, passing ATS on the right. At the bottom of the hill, just before the school, turn left into Grove Bridge / Grove Hill and you will find The Old Gatehouse approximately 200m on the right.

From North Pembrokeshire / Haverfordwest: Take the A4076 towards Milford Haven. On leaving Johnston, at the large roundabout, take the 1st exit on the A477 towards Pembroke Dock. After the toll bridge (75p) go straight over the 1st roundabout and take the 1st exit at the next roundab...
