Llanbrynmair, Powys, Wales
Wake up to nothing but bird song at this very tranquil location on the edge of both the Snowdonia National Park and the Cambrian Mountain range. A traditional Welsh Longhouse and converted stables dating back over 400 years packed full of all the traditional features you'd expect from a property of this period, but having lovingly been restored includes all your creature comforts including a very swish new kitchen and bathroom with Victorian roll top bath and flower head shower. Enjoy our welcome hamper on arrival when booking for a whole week. We recently renovated the property from a 4 bed to 14-16 which was completed in the spring of 2015. The brand new kitchen is very spacious, perfect for large groups to cook and just hang out in, we also have two living rooms and a dining room that seats 16. Outside boasts a large seating area.... Just returned home from a week staying here. 10 adults, 2 babies and 2 dogs. We chose this holiday cottage due to the added amenities of a hot tub, outdoor cinema and pizza oven. The house is in a lovely secluded location surrounded by fields and mountains. The house is finished to a high standard and has a lot of...

A group of 14 of us stayed at Fronlwyd in February 2016. We had a fantastic time and were warmly welcomed by Vicky and Adam. The house is wonderful, retaining many original features whilst also having modern luxurious touches. The kitchen was very well equipped, the beds were comfortable and the roll top bath was a welcome treat after a...

Stayed for a week in August, large family consisting of 9 Adults 8 teenagers and 6 children. Needless to say the bell tent came in useful. Absolutely beautiful longhouse and fully equipped with everything you'll need, we made the most of the washing machine and tumble dryer. My personal favourite was the kitchen, perfectly sized hub of the house, we...
