Rhiwlas Cottage is an 18th Century stone built cottage that adjoins the owner's farmhouse and is located at the head of the Vyrnwy valley in the village of Llanwddyn, three miles from Lake Vyrnwy in North Wales. This cottage has three bedrooms, two doubles (one of which has an ensuite) and one twin, as well as a bathroom with a spa bath, meaning this cottage sleeps up to six people.     Unfortunately when we pulled up to the cottage the outside was dirty, quite a lot of bird mess on windows and outside bench. Entering the cottage it was clear no one had stayed there for a long time, lots of cobwebs in every room even over the kitchen utensils, I cleaned most of it myself. Lights in kitchen and main...

    We spent a lot of money for a 5-day stay. However, upon entry we were hit by a musty smell that smelt like wet dog and it never went away.
