House #1 is a 3 Bed 2 Full Bath home. Bedroom #1 has a full bed, bedroom #2 a queen bed, bedroom #3 (master) has a queen bed/ bunk bed/crib. Bathroom #1 has a shower/tub combination, sink and toilet. Bathroom #2 (master) has a large tub, shower, toilet and 2 sinks. It offers a spacious living room with a couch, a loveseat and 2 chairs with ottomans; wood burning fireplace and a 50-inch Flat Screen TV with DVD player and Dish Cable TV. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room with washer & dryer. We also offer Unlimited Verizon Internet. Outside guests can enjoy the shaded wraparound 2-story porch that offers a gas grill (propane provided) and a charcoal grill.
House #2 is a 3 Bed 2 Full Bath home. Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, bedroom #2 has a queen bed, bedroom #3 (master) has a queen bed and crib. There are also 2 bunk beds and a ping pong table in the den. Bathroom #1 has a shower/tub combination, sink and toilet. Bathroom #2 (master) has a large tub, shower, toilet and 2 sinks. It offers a spacious living room with a couch, a loveseat, 2 chairs, a 50-inch Flat Screen TV with DVD player and Dish Cable TV. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room with washer & dryer. We also offer Unlimited Verizon Internet. Outside guests can enjoy the shaded wraparound porch that offers a gas grill (propane provided) and a charcoal grill.
House #1 capacity is 8 guests (adults and children) and House #2 capacity is 10 guests (adults and children) for a total of 18 guests comfortably sleeping in beds. If more accommodations are needed, guests can rent the other lake house on the property or pay an extra guest fee of $25 per guest per night, up to 2 extra guests and bring them along.
The property also offers plenty of outdoor space with shade trees, outdoor seating, hammock, picnic tables, fire pit and horseshoes. A 317 Feet Lighted & covered concrete Fishing Pier, sandy beach, water toy rentals and boat tour to the waterfalls. The lake is swimming friendly and gets deeper gradually so it is perfect for small kids.

- Minimum age to book is 25 years old, owners will request to see I.D.
- The house capacity is 18 guests (adults and children). A $25 dollar fee per guest per night will be charged for extra guests (up to 2 extra guests).
- Quiet Hours from 10 pm to 8 am.
- No loud music, parties, or day visitors. Only guests staying in the house are allowed in the property.
- No illicit drugs, public drunkenness or fighting. Law enforcement will be called in these instances.
This is a small and quiet neighborhood that provides a relaxing setting. We are very close to the Dam, so you will be able to visit it and learn more about Buchanan’s history. Plenty of places to go since we are about 15 minutes from larger cities like Marble Falls, Burnet and Llano.
Getting around
You will need a vehicle to go to places out of the neighborhood or nearby cities, but you can visit the neighborhood by foot.

How to get there
South Shore Lakes Houses is located behind the antique store and the white residence on RR 261. First left on Carlson Road. There is a Jet Bloat on the corner of the road.
House #1 is the house on the right side of the lake front and House #2 is the house on the left side of the lake front.
Guests can park in any grass areas, except the lake front, passing the houses. Please keep road and boat ramp clear.
We are located about 15 minutes from Marble Falls, Burnet and Llano, and about an hour from Austin.
